Located on the Willey Farm property, formerly a thriving horse and dairy farm in the heart of Essex Junction, Willey Farm Bed and Breakfast has been welcoming guests since August of 1994. Combining the best of the old and new, this handsome home is appointed with lovely antiques, Turkish rugs, and gleaming china.
The three beautifully decorated guest rooms are available all year, each appointed with wonderful down pillows and quilts and decorated with old-fashioned charm. You will feel pampered in the Rose Room with a queen-sized bed, private bath, and a splendid view of the perennial garden. The Blue Room is named for its collection of blue and white antique sugar bowls along with twin cannonball beds, antique dressers, and lovely views. The Red Room comes with a comfortable cannonball bed and a Lincoln chair wrapped in a rich, red velvet fabric.
A generous breakfast is prepared each morning which always offers fresh fruit, homemade bread, and juice. You will never forget Lynn's homemade buttermilk pancakes with Vermont maple syrup or her Swedish coffee cakes, fluffy eggs, and Vermont smoked bacon or sausage. Most importantly, you will never forget the extra helping of hospitality that is served with everything.
Surrounded by acres of landscaped lawns and gardens, you are most welcome to pick an apple in season, walk the pastures, or stroll in to downtown Essex Junction to enjoy dinner at a fine restaurant or browse the antique stores. Those who enjoy relaxation and nature will relish the natural landscape when hiking, biking, or even skiing in this quiet, unspoiled countryside. You are near the Champlain Valley Exposition, the Amtrak station, and public transportation. Lake Champlain and the Green Mountains are close by.
