From the moment you walk in the door at the office of Dr. William A. Taylor Jr., youll feel completely welcome by our amiable staff. Children and adults alike will benefit from our general and cosmetic dentistry services, administered by a caring and understanding team, as well as our emergency services. We understand how important your oral health is, and we work hard to ensure that it remains in tip-top condition. Dr. William A. Taylor Jr. was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, and moved to New York at age 7. He graduated from Hampton Institute, now known as Hampton University, in Virginia in 1979. Dr. Taylor taught High School in Newport News for a number of years before going to dental school. He attended Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry, and graduated in 1989. Dr. Taylor did an advanced General Dentistry residency at Howard University from 1989-1990. He currently, in addition to private practice, does nursing home and home-bound dentistry in Washington, D.C., and Maryland. He is a member of the ADA, AGD and NDA. His hobbies include coaching girls basketball and Masters competitive swimming.

I enjoy visiting Dr. Taylor every six months for a teeth cleaning. Him and the staff are always kind and knowledgeable.  Dr. Taylor was recommended to me by my Uncle. I'm glad the connection worked out!

I had a great experience with Dr. William Taylor, he explained to me the entire treatment procedure including costs which was very fair compared to Choice Dental Care

This was one of the worse dental services I have ever had. He bonded my teeth together, when they were suppose to just be fillings. All of the composite came off of my front teeth revealing decay that still on the teeth. I don't recommend this dentist at all.

Dr. Taylor is a thorough dentist who is dedicated to his craft. Oral health is important so choose your dentist wisely.

For as long as I can remember, there are two things that cause immediate and intense fear in my heart - the boogeyman, and the dentist!  Finding myself in need of dental care, I followed the advice of credible references and enlisted the help of Dr. Taylor.  I found myself at ease in the presence of his office manager, and Dr Taylor kept me abreast of the process every step of the way.  My fear of the instruments was alleviated, as he told me what he was about to do, and he explained how I should prepare for the outcome.  The pain that I experienced was minimal, and took less time than I expected.  I was satisfied with the outcome of each visit yes I actually returned more than once, and have no trepidations about the need for more visits.  Dr Taylor has completely eradicated my fear of the dentist.  Now, about that boogeyman . . .!

The staff was friendly. I appreciated the text reminder prior to my visit. I arrived early and they took me early. I find Dr Taylor very easy to speak with:kind, caring and straightforward. I loved that he cleaned my teeth himself and did so gently but effectively. After one of the other staff members took my X-rays, Dr Taylor came in again and pronounced me good to go. Unlike in other dental places there was no attempt to upsell me on needless procedures like teeth whitening, Invisalign, etc. Instead, this practice offers honest care that is needed by the patient. At another appointment I was impressed by Dr Taylor’s assessment of a difficulty I was having regarding a crown that had fallen off. He worked me in immediately and provided me with an excellent referral to an oral surgeon. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Taylor and his staff are professionaland courteous.The office is located near the Giant on East-West Highway. There's amply parking as well. I'm impressed with Dr. Taylor's care. He interacted with me well. I will continue with his practice in the future.

It has been years since I have had a dentist I feel comfortable with and can honestly say I like! From the jump, Dr. Taylor makes you feel welcomed and caters to your concerns! His assistant was warm and friendly and you can tell they actually care about their patients, not just their money! Upon checking my teeth Dr. Taylor found ways to meet my needs without breaking my bank account in the process.  Prior to him, every dentist I went to was giving me a list of issues with my teeth that were just racking up bills on top of bills; I honestly didn’t know how I could ever afford to fix my teeth! Dr. Taylor has kept it honest with me and shows care for my needs. It’s evident that he is not out to get rich off me or anyone for that matter; just wants to provide the most exceptional service, which he does.  I finally have a dentist  that is professional and that I can trust!!! Highly recommend him to anyone in need of dental attention.
