I was treated horribly today at Dr. Grants office. After waiting over 3 hours I asked how much longer would it be. One of the staff members lied and said she called my phone and she called my name. Others that had been waiting for hours with me said that they didn’t hear her call any names as well. She couldn’t prove that she called me so she got irate and said well now you are threatening and we are not going to see you. I told her to please get Dr. Grant and she calls the police on me. I have never been so humiliated in my life! How can he allow his patients to be treated like this. I should have listened to the reviews. They are horrible. Let’s get this place closed down.

I found in out 2022 I'm having the same surgery dr grant performed in 2020 bc dr Mcdonald grantfemale she didn't take the bone spur out of my heel which she was suppose to these ppl are horrible I won't recommend

Dr. Lisa Grant-McDonald and her father Dr. William Grant are two of the best doctors I have ever met. I read a lot of comments about wait time at their office...did anyone stop to realize that they prioritize emergencies. They stop and help the worst of us first. That is not to be ridiculed but praised. They have more compassion for the people and a true desire to help you be as mobile as you can than any two people you will ever meet. The office and medical staff are friendly and helpful. I always know I am going to wait when I go so I give myself 3 hours when I go and know that may run long. What I always know is that when it runs long...they are helping someone in need and I know they never let me leave without seeing me no matter the time. I only wish I could give them more than 5 stars. I may not always like what they tell me or what they have to cut off but I always trust they have my best interest at heart. What more could I ask for?

Today was one of the most Horrific Experiences I have ever witnessed in my Entire life. To simply start if you make an appointment it truly does not matter!! You will sit and wait at least two hours after your appointment so if you have any other plans for the day DO NOT GO THERE!!! There is literally two doctors for the entire practice and a abundant amount of staff..Very Overcrowded.. THE ENTIRE WAIT ROOM IS PACKED AT ALL TIMES RUBBING ELBOWS LITERALLY WITH THE NEXT PERSON… MASK ARE STILL REQUIRED EVEN THOUGH YOU SIT VERY CLOSE TO THE NEXT PERSON..MULTIPLE PEOPLE IN WHEELCHAIRS AND CRUTCHES THAT HAVE HAD SURGERY… NO PRIVACY WHATSOEVER.. I HAVE HEARD PEOPLE SCREAMING IN PAIN AND AGONY AS YOU WAIT FOR YOUR TURN..I HAVE NEVER WITNESSED ANYTHING LIKE THIS EVER IN A DOCTOR OFFICE… PEOPLE ARE NEEDING SURGERY ON TOP OF SURGERY THEY JUST RECEIVED.. it’s appalling.. Doctor look as though he have not slept in 22+ years comes in and says two sentences and ask for you to come back again.. SENDING PEOPLE HOME WITH NO PAIN MEDS AFTER SERIOUS PROCEDURES … & THE LIST GOES ON.. so if you plan on going to this place DO NOT GO if you plan on keeping any of your body parts it is very unsanitary. OVERBOOKED AND OVERLOOKED ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION. … Run Away fast!!! if I could give them a thumbs down I most certainly would.

The wait time is out of control. What is the point of having an appointment scheduled if you have to wait over 90 minutes to be called back. That is rather inconsiderate to the patient. And this happens at every visit to the office. 4 times now. Also, my prescriptions are never called in like they are supposed to be. I have to call the office after I leave not once, but twice to make them actually make the order with my pharmacy. This has happened twice now. The only reason I offer 3 stars? Because Dr. Grant is great. He is experienced and listens to you, which I appreciate. He takes my pain seriously and genuinely wants me to feel better. The office staff is friendly, but they aren’t doing a good job of managing the schedule or calling the pharmacy like they’re supposed to.

Doctor Grant might be a good doctor I have seen him before and do think of him as a good doctor but his office procedures and his staff need to learn customer service, I don't know if I wanna go back. I had an appointment a week ago waited over 2 hours went to the front and asked how much longer it would be, was told there are 5 people ahead of me this was at 5:15 in the evening so I said cancel my appointment and reschedule. I would have been there to probably til 7 o'clock at night had the appointment rescheduled for today, waited over an hour to be told I had two people in front of me, as I watched the other people in the office and I wait over an hour there is a lady ahead of me that waited 2 hours. I also watched people that came in after us and went back before we did. They have a serious problem with over booking and they have a serious problem with customer service. Girl at the front could not even apologize, did not even try to make things better. Will have to find a new foot doctor now.

Dr. Grant and most of his staff are wonderful! The new front desk staff he hired recently, he needs to fire them IMMEDIATELY. I tried calling in for a refill like I have done in the past numerous times, she wanted to give me a hard time.

Very pleased with Dr. Grant-McDonald’s surgical procedure that she performed last week to repair my Jones Fx. Still not having any pain 5 days post op. Sweet compassion and lovely bedside manner. Very knowledgeable and excellent patient education. Thank you Lisa!

I have been seeing Lisa Grant the past 2 months. I came here for a multitude of issues in my ankles and feet, not localized to one location. Unfortunately, there are no answers yet. However, Lisa has been the first doctor to really take my concerns seriously. I have widespread chronic pain and issues and she has been committed to figuring out how to help me as a whole, not just my feet, with necessary referrals. I have worried for years that I will spend my life in pain and without answers, but it makes me feel better that she is proactive and listens and doesn't dismiss my problems as real. Also, appointments are easy to get in for - have not had to wait a long time for availability so that is a plus.

Growing up, my second metatarsal was always longer than the rest of my toes on both feet. As a kid, i felt embarrassed and ashamed of what my feet looked liked. Not only was I worried about the appearance of my feet but I could never stand longer than 1 hour due to the pain of my long toes. Shoes were always problem for me and I never wore sandals or open-toed shoes in public to avoid weird stares or questions. As I got older, I went to several pediatric podiatrists and no one could ever tell me what the real problem was. No one bothered to take X-rays let alone sat down with me to ask questions and try to come up with solutions for my feet. When I moved to Virginia Beach, my parents and I made it a mission to try to find a doctor who would listen and express concern and/or interest about my case. We were then referred to Dr. Grant and as soon as he saw my feet he told me he would help me and that he had the solution as to what he was going to be able to do to fix both my long toes and my pain due to those toes. I could immediately tell he was he was interested in helping me. He explained my options and recommended a toe-shortening surgery; which was a complete success for both feet. Both surgeries were done in Sentara Hospital and did not last more than an hour. Post surgery was pleasingly quick and recovery took less than 3 months. Both of my feet are completely beautiful and I now wear sandals and open-toed shoes without having to worry about the shoe not fitting to my foot because of my long toes or having pain. I am back on my 2 feet and live life better than i was before. If you have ever dealt with doctors who simply do not care or show sincere concern about your case, go to Doctor Grant. He is the best doctor I have come across with. Such a generous and happy soul who you look forward to seeing every time you have appointment with him. I am infinitely grateful for all that he did for me since the first day i came in to see him. Words do not suffice my gratitude towards him, his daughter, and all the staff that work alongside him. Thanks to them, I gained my confidence back and I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. Thank you to Dr. Grant and his team.
