Remarkable unposed shots that captured amazing moments. Darren was the very best photographer and gave us the best experience with a photographer we have ever had. His studio has the best photographs of people and pets that we’ve ever seen. I had a special appreciation for his talent, since I’ve been our family photographer for decades. Darren was extremely personable, treating us with genuine interest, sharing his personality, sense of humor and his own experiences, making us feel relaxed and at home from the first minute. He and his team were outstanding in making it all work. They were very professional, walked us through the process ahead of time, had a full array of equipment, including cameras, computer and monitors and a large full-wall screen for viewing and selections. We chose the option to do the photo shoot at our house where our dog was at his best. We ended up with great shots of us with our dog, followed by family portraits, and then graduation shots with our son. Darren was the master of capturing great images, and was very creative, resulting in many memorable shots, including us in a kayak with our dog. The whole experience was so amazing, we were lucky to have found him and have him and his work be a part of our lives.
I have seen many of Willow Street’s photo’s around town and at the homes of friends. My entire family was in town and I made the decision to be photographed there. It was a wonderful experience, and when it came time to make my selection I was wondering how I was going to choose. Darren has a great system for narrowing it down and I was able to find my “Willow Street Moments”. I know because tears came to my eyes. Their work can be imaginative, a little quirky, and in the end it captures a feeling. We even brought our dog:
Working with Willow Street Pictures has been a wonderful experience from start to finish! The entire team was welcoming and accommodating from our first visit to the studio as an introduction to the gallery presentation at pick up. Working with 2 kids and 2 pets made things challenging, but you'd never know by the photos from that day! The portraits look beautiful hanging at home - like they've been there forever. Thanks so much to Darren and his wonderful team for capturing my family so beautifully!
I was the lucky winner of a Willow Street photo shoot in a local animal rescue auction. Having seen the amazing artwork at various veterinary hospitals and shows, I couldn’t wait to work with Darren and his team. One of my dogs was 15 years old and her time was limited so I knew that I wanted her to be the focus of the photo shoot. I was extremely nervous about the photo shoot because Simba had always been such a bah humbug about pictures, but Regina and team assured me that I had nothing to worry about. And man was she right! Simba was a total rock star and left me in shock and disbelief at how she hammed up for the camera! We chose to do our photo shoot outside at Willow Street, which was definitely the right decision because it was cool outside, and Simba just loved it. The preview show was so much fun, but it was soooo hard to choose artwork because Regina took the most amazing photos! Simba passed 8 months later but seeing her amazing artwork every day brings so much joy to my heart. Every detail about working with Willow Street was perfection, from the initial consultation to the photo shoot, the preview show, and finally the framing and artwork pick up. Darren, Regina, and team have a very unique gift of capturing the human-animal bond and transferring it to amazing artwork to be treasured forever!
The quality of the pet portrait does NOT meet the price my husband paid for it, which was $80. The digital brush strokes are inaccurate, along with the coloring of my dogs coat. The simple black frame is very nice.
HIGHLY recommend If you want very nice photos, they did my senior portraits and it was an AWESOME experience! There team and owner are all very nice and take a lot of time and effort to work with you and give you whatever your looking for.
Our 11 year old pitbull Sunny was suddenly diagnosed with a terminal illness and we were told we wouldn't have much longer. When I called Willow Street Pictures and reviewed our urgency to have memorable photos taken with our boy, they were more than happy to accommodate. When the trip to their office would have been too much for Sunny, they offered to meet us at a destination of our choosing. Darren and Chloe were nothing short of amazing, both in their compassion for our situation, and their professionalism. Darren is a truly gifted photographer that captured the very essence of Sunny. Darren didn't hesitate getting into the water to catch some action shots while Sunny played either! Thank you all for making this experience a truly great one. our experience with willow street pictures will forever be in our hearts. my now wife and kids had a great time during our photoshoot, and the staff's communication was superb. i would recommend that anyone who wants to do a family photoshoot or maternity photoshoot with professionals who want to get the best out of an experience should come here and you wont be disappointed.
Over the past 4 years Darren and his team at Willow Street Pictures have generously supported the UDS United Disabilities Services Service Dogs Program with the gift of a lavish photo shoot. It was a joy to win this 3 years ago for my daughter and her beloved cat "Tinsel". Melaina was treated like a celebrity making her feel special and the team helped her to relax, have fun, and enjoy her time in the spotlight. Her favorite bands were playing for her during her studio time, snacks and drinks in her beautiful dressing room, and laughter filled the studio from Melaina and the team alike. Tinsel was treated as the diva she believes herself to be, presenting her with a gift bag when she arrived. The kindness and generosity of this amazing team cannot be summed up with words alone. It is spoken in the beautiful art they create. Each shot shines with passion for what they do, and provides a glimpse to the excellence of their trade and beautiful craftsmanship. Darren, thank you is not enough to express our gratitude for everything you have done and continue to do for those in our communities.
