I would give zero stars if I could. I waited 6 months for this appointment, I verified my insurance before making the appointment. Well my appointment was last week, they refused to see me due to my insurance, refused to let me pay out of pocket. I spoke to the office manager, Savannah, who said she’d call me back by the end of the day to figure what the issue was, well that was a week ago, and I still haven’t gotten a call back. I now have to seek medical treatment outside of Georgia because this specific doctor was my last hope, as I have a rare condition and he’s the ONLY doctor listed in Georgia on my specific conditions official website. This offices staff is incompetent and downright rude. They don’t care about helping people get better.
Dr. Hayes Wilson is one of the most patient, kind and compassionate people I know. He genuinely cares for people and has a true servants heart. He and his staff are a Blessing to me.
I’ve been a patient of Dr. W. Hayes Wilson for over 20 years, I lived in Europe for many years and would fly home, just for an appointment with Dr. W, he’s by far the best doctor I’ve ever seen or heard of.. he takes his time and appreciates everything you tell him! I can not imagine anyone not loving him or Dr. Kimberly Wilson, his beautiful and kind wife, I would take anyone I loved to him bc I know he’ll do everything possible to help! After reading some of the reviews, I’m floored anyone would say anything hateful about this Dr. he’s truly amazing and has helped me in ways I could never have imagined, I’ve sever advanced Fibromyalgia and RA, it started in my 20’s, without Dr. Hayes, I’d probably be dead bc the pain became unbearable, he did everything in his power to help me and found treatment plans that were new and in testing stages and got me involved! I have a life bc of Dr. Wilson! Yes, you have to wait for your appointment bc he takes time with EVERY patient he sees, he’s sure to help them all! Worth the wait for the appointment and the wait in the waiting room! I’ve never had an issue with getting my refills when needed with or without an appointment! I think the hateful comments are people that just want to complain! He HAD a office manager that, was wonderful to me, but I could tell maybe not everyone but that’s not Dr. Wilson’s fault, she’s no longer there!
Dr. Hayes Wilson is an Excellent physician - smart, kind, and caring. It took me so long to find a Rheumatologist who actually understands Sjogren's disease, as many do not. The wait to get an initial appointment, and sometimes having to wait in the office when he is caring for another patient, is totally worth it. He also makes virtual visits available. He is the best!
I have been seeing Dr Wilson for 15 years and love him. Excellent bedside manner. I had been seeing another rheumatologist for several years and all he did was treat the symptom and prescribed steroids often. I wasn't happy. Dr Wilson took the time to discuss different treatment options and the pros and cons. He always listens and is very caring. He helped me find medications and solutions through different phases of my RA and worked with me to help me feel my best. My RA has definitely been worse and better through the last 19 years. You will have to wait many appointments but, to me he is well worth the wait! I always come prepared with work, emails to return or book becomes I would rather wait to see Dr Wilson. He's helped me tremendously through the years.
My first visit with Dr Wilson Hayes was quick and efficient. The second was like a doctor's visit from Hell. I have rheumatoid arthritis. I was made to wait in their very uncomfortable chairs in the waiting room for at least two hours. Then I was brought into the exam room where his nurse visited with me for ten minutes and had me change into a paper shirt for examination. I sat like that for an hour or more. When I saw Dr Wilson he was abrupt, whistling, and singing. He did not go over my numbers from my blood work from my first visit nor did he check my joints. He just listened to my breathing. Um - my primary care physician does that. He refilled a few prescriptions and left the room. About half an hour later the nurse came in to release me. I left and vowed never to return. That is the worst experience I have ever had at a doctor's office and I've seen a lot of them with my disease. What's worse is that based on my first visit I recommended him to my coworker who had the same experience I had on my second visit on her first! He seems to be one of those doctor's who stacks patients in order to receive more from insurance companies. He cares more about the bottom dollar than his patients' health.
I have been seeing Dr Wilson for about 7 years. Every time I see him, he makes me feel better about what ever is going on. He is a very positive and friendly person with great bedside manner and the ability to be professional and yet personable and funny at the same time. Medically, Dr Wilson is the best diagnostician I have ever been in the care of and/or worked with. Being in the medical field, I can tell you that he is the doctor of doctors as well as the doctor to spouses of doctors in the Atlanta, Alpharetta, Roswell and Marietta area in terms of Rheumatology. I have sent many coworkers and friends to him and all have been very happy with him. I highly recommend Dr W. Hayes Wilson.
First, let me say I adore Dr. Wilson. He is kind ,caring and always make the visit a good one. However, his billing department is horrible. Starting with the front desk. She is truly ignorant. Watch your bills and ALWAYS get a receipt.
He was good for the management of my arthritis due to lupus but once my symptoms started progressing towards my lungs he began prescribing medications without explaining them throughly which made me very uncomfortable, I ultimately changed doctors.
Dr. Hayes is amazing. It's so nice to finally have a Dr. That actually seems like he cares. 10 years I have searched for a decent Dr. I finally found one.
