Excellent event at WineO last night. Mark was great fun, super knowledgeable and doesn't make wine tasting a pretentious exercise. I loved the tips and hacks that he showed us in order to make us better tasters, and he gave out sheets with info so we could take them away. he also taught us some of the culture around wine, which was a nice touch. they have a great space, very informative approach and the tastings included full glasses as well as snacks which were matches for the wines we were tasting. we even got an extra wine to try! definitely recommend going with a group. they also send out wine mailers which you can choose the frequency as well as type of varietals you prefer so you can try a bunch. Very affordable as well, and flexible in terms of the way in which they choose and send you wines. thanks mark!
