I stopped by for the first time today to take part in their Seconds Sale. I ended up picking up two rice spoons, two bowls, and a teapot. It's hard not to get caught up in how beautiful their collection is. I spent well over an hour in there, and the employees were incredibly friendly. I could definitely see myself coming back here and recommending it to my friends and family. The pictures don't do this place justice! I just happened to snap a few to send to my friends.
In addition to their beautiful ceramics and stationary, there is a certain ineffable feeling of tranquility and peace in Wing on Wo & Co. Gary, the former owner, is uncommonly kind, gentle, and philosophical; my girlfriend and I meditated on our conversation with him for hours, if not days, afterwards.
The oldest and best! store in Chinatown. The store has a wonderful atmosphere, and has unique gifts that can’t be found anywhere else in city. On top of that is the real depth of care and feeling that exudes from this place. No matter who you are, Gary the owner’s father will always take time to speak with you from the heart, and make you feel listened to.
this is a great place to go shopping for whatever you need. Great for last minute gifts. Great customer service and excellent prices
Such an amazing store. What makes this place so special is not just what is in it but who is in it. Reminds me of all the beauty and magic of Chinatown
Small shop full of authentic wares. Beautiful porcelain lines the walls. I came looking for tea wares and that's exactly what I got! Reasonable prices, especially for the quality and location It's New York, guys. Lots of cool other small souvenirs such as necklaces, pins, earrings, and patches. Great family with rich history, a gem of China town I can't wait to return to.
Amazing place to get gifts, such a warm and welcome spot. Gary and the family that works their is super sweet and very involved in the community in Chinatown including LGBTQ events, etc. We love to see it!!
Went to New York for the first time and stopped in on our trip to Chinatown. My friend is a art major so she actually learned about the store from her are school in Kansas. So many beautiful pieces and the hospitality was the best we’ve had our whole stay in New York! I highly recommend visiting!
One of the most beautiful shops in New York. Family run, rich in history, and as authentic as it gets. I love this place !!
Came in to support the Asian American community in Chinatown and left with beautiful teaware and a list of things I wanted to buy with future disposable income. I hope this place never closes. The owners told me about their artist-in-residency program and yearly exhibition at Chinese New Year.
