Small poke place with counter service. You can make your own poke bowl or choose from several presets. The fish is fresh and extras are nice, but the amount of fish is small for the price and leaves one wanting more. Good place to try once but challenging to find a reason to go again.
A very modern ambience meets poké! The food quality is above average. There is room to sit down to eat, they have a great variety of options for the poke bowls, and they have some tasty mochi dessert options. Great for a midday lunch, to order out, take out, or sit down. The restaurant is sort of tucked away on W 19th St. right off of eighth Avenue. I’ll definitely be returning soon.
Great service. They were very helpful with explaining the menu and help me combine my bowl. The food is delicious and everything is fresh. The music is soothing. The service is very fast. The only thing is there is only one large table to sit so you can’t get too comfortable. It’s more like a clean, minimalist quick bite spot with decent prices. I enjoyed my lunch. I also like that they offer tap water next to plastic utensils.
I don't enjoy my experience this time, and don't plan to return. It was drenched in soy sauce, so much that the flavour of the food was completely obscured. The large bowl with two drinks came out to $25 after taxes, and was about half the size of a Chipotle burrito bowl. The salmon wasn't well marinated, although the spicy tuna tasted good.
Delicious poke, but a very long line and a very small space during lunch. The spicy tuna was delicious and they added so much to my bowl. I'd go on off hours.
It was good, ingredients looked fresh, but I've had better tasting pokés in other places
Ingredients are fresh and it tastes great! Poké can be a bit on the pricier side, but it was definitely worth it.
Another new favorite quick meal stop without the guilt. Very fresh combos from which to choose, or make your own creation. My current favorite is the Heat Wave with ahi tuna and zucchini spaghetti base. Be mindful of when you want a sit-in visit. This new spot has gotten very popular in no time.
Tiny amount of fish roe for the ikura bowl, a little saucy,. But overall you can't go wrong with a poke bowl :D
I really love poke and I'm glad NYC is catching up on this food trend. The food tasted fresh and I liked the many selections of additional toppings.
