The staff is extremely friendly! The building feels like home, relaxing and inviting. You don't have to worry about being judged. First time mom or not, they will treat you with respect! Go for the classes, you'll learn more than you think.

I have gone to the womans care center so far for my pregnancy test, my ultrasound, and 7 So far I have received 2 onesies, samples of breast pads and breast milk storage bags, a baby blanket and a baby towel plus 200 diapers. (infant car seat is 10 coupons. A crib a mattress is 14 coupons, a stroller is 5 coupons) it really is so beneficial! And the classes are very informative. Even though I already have a child and previously knew alot about babies, I have still gained so much information! For anyone who is expecting a child, or with a child between the ages of newborn to 4 years I high recommend it!
But above all of the "benefits" received I honestly think one of the best parts is the support they give. They take extra effort to remember each face and each name to the best of their ability and really do all that they can to make you feel at home there. They try to get to know your little ones and what you are going through. They really listen to what your saying and try their best to help in every way. They are always smiling and cheerful.

The women's Care Center in Niles, MI has been very helpful and a wonderful resource. I find their classes informative, interesting and helpful. I also take part in the goals program which let's me work with a counselor one on one and learn things about parenting, baby, etc. and create goals that I wish to accomplish. It is really cool earning coupons through the programs at the care center for things I find interesting and want to learn, and get to earn the coupons to get things I need for baby. My counselor is extremely helpful and looks up information for me to use if I have questions about anything. She has been helpful in helping me find more resources in breast feeding help if I have trouble with my second baby (I didn't get to breastfeed my first son for very long because I had a lot of issues and didn't know where to go for help). I think it is a great place to check out rather to take parenting classes, work with a counselor, if you need something for baby, or just have questions. I would recommend the care center in Niles to all pregnant women or to all mothers. I've had a wonderful experience and I really hope that all moms reach out if they need some help or just want to further educate themselves all things baby. The goals program has been my favorite and they have a lot of different ideas for goals if you aren't sure where to start.
