Women’s Wilderness is a unique organization that specializes in empowering girls wilderness programs. We are the ONLY nonprofit in the nation that also has programming for women and the LGBTQ+ community.
We believe girls from all backgrounds and income levels should have access to the transformative power of the great outdoors. Since our inception, we have awarded over $385,000 in financial aid. To this day, we have never turned away a girl in financial need.

Women's Wilderness is a nonprofit organization with the mission of strengthening the courage, confidence, and leadership qualities of girls, women and the LGBTQ+ community through the support and challenge of wilderness and community based experiences.
Our programs are designed to meet the unique needs and learning styles of women and girls while providing solid instruction in wilderness living, outdoor skills and backcountry safety. On all WW courses you will find:
