Wonderstruck Event Design

Katie at Wonderstruck is just amazing! She is one of the most detail oriented people out there and made sure that EVERYTHING had been thought of in advance of our big day. Even our photographer was impressed by the detailed schedule she was sent beforehand. She helped us find many of our vendors including our location and as she is so well connected in the wedding business in Seattle she was able to negotiate some great rates and deals for us! Even when our catering staff turned out to be a total disaster the night of our wedding, untrained, unable to follow directions, Katie didn't miss a beat. After the wedding she still helped us deal with the disaster caterer and communicate our many frustrations to them. She also dealt with so many issues the day of, including shoe blisters, camera batteries dying, a soaking wet wedding dress (it poured rain), breastfeeding schedules of the wedding party, and did it all with a smile! My husband and I had a total blast at our wedding and knew nothing of the total mess that was going on behind the scenes. We hired a wedding planner to make sure that all the day of problems were dealt with not by us, and we cannot imagine our wedding day without Katie! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Katie from Wonderstruck Event Design is the only wedding planner you should ever discuss wedding planning with. We hired Katie right after we found our venue (The Fremont Foundry) -- and it was the best decision we could have ever made. She knew the venue like it was the back of her hand, and understood exactly what we were going for. We knew we had no idea what to do with all of the small details of planning a wedding. She took care of everything with a smile -- and only had the best suggestions for every piece of the puzzle. All of the vendors she helped us decide on were incredible, and they ALL got excited when they knew we were working with Katie. The team we assembled for our wedding day was perfect. We definitely had a couple of obstacles/challenges that we threw at Katie (hanging a chuppah where there is no place to hang a chuppah is a good example). She brought her A-game and made it look like it was floating in thin air. She planned our big Italian/Jewish wedding all while being a new Mom too. We had a blast. Our friends and family all had a blast. All in all a very impressive woman to work with. We can't recommend her enough. If you want to feel relaxed and confident on your wedding day, don't be a dummy. Go with Katie and Wonderstruck. THANK YOU, KATIE.

The wedding I photographed by Wonderstruck Event Design was one of the most elegant and beautiful weddings I have ever worked on! If I were to be planning a stunning event or getting married, I would call Katie in a heartbeat!!!! Her table lays and flowers were a dream and she was so incredibly sweet and organized! I will squeal with delight if I am ever lucky enough to be on a project with Wonderstruck Event Design in the future!

My husband and I had a fantastic experience working with Katie and the Wonderstruck 
team on planning, flowers, and day-of coordination for our wedding. She was great at listening to
our ideas, helpful with her own advice and suggestions, and responsive to our questions 
throughout the process. On the day of the wedding, she brought our wedding vision to life and 
took care of coordinating with our venue and vendors and setting up and breaking down the 
room.
