The best lemon pepper wings on the West bank. The big corporations just don't have that taste that comes from your family. Woodmere Cafe reminds me of my pops, or mom's even my grandmother's cooking. Soul food cooking. Gumbo is great. Gumbo is served everyday all year long. Family owned. Very beautiful, friendly, they're just beautiful people.

Highly recommend!! I just got 2 hot sausage fried shrimp poboys based off a comment on Facebook and they were absolutely delicious! And the counter help was especially helpful and friendly. I will definitely be going back!!
I love this place... My entire staff loves the food.... If you want a meal to fill you up. This is the place for you... The ladies at the counter are always friendly.
