Woodrow Wilson Memorial Bridge

I enjoyed my walk, it was my first time so I got a little over 4 miles in. A lot of beautiful nature views along my long enjoyable stroll.

This is a really lovely bridge to get your exercise on while soaking in the beautiful scenery. Be it for biking, walking and running. It’s a 6 mile walk to and fro from Virginia to the Maryland side and vice versa. I really enjoyed riding on the bridge renting the capital bikeshare bicycle with a friend. It was so much fun! I highly recommend to all tourists and locals as well.

I've been telling myself I was going to do this hike for quite a while now. Geocaching brought me today. It's a very nice hike, and took less time than I thought it would. I found parking on the Virginia side in the neighborhood. Quite a few people doing the hike today, but not at all crowded. Warm and muggy, so if you come during the summer for heaven sake bring water. Lol

What a pleasant surprise and a way to enjoy the New Year! We walked from the Alexandria side to Maryland side about 1.75 miles one way. This was my first on the bridge as a pedestrian. This truly a must do if you ever vsist Old Town or the National Harbor and if you enjoy nature. You will learn so.e history, breathe fresh air, see both take off and cars zoom past. Looking forward to walking this bridge again.

I really love coming here with my son and also to workout. I usually go early in the morning around 7 or 8 and there is plenty of parking. If you go later in the day or evening it can get really packed. The great thing is there are always cops patrolling the area as well for safety. Its very clean as well. You're kids can also play or ride their bikes. There is also a nearby park as well. You can also walk into old town from the bridge as well or you can walk the bridge into Maryland. In all is a great location.

An intriguing part of being in and around our nation's capital I have never actually seen the drawbridge in the up position and the ship passing through that would definitely be something I would like to see and I will keep on my bucket list.

Was a beautiful place to stop and watch the fireworks. A bit danger but was worth the view.
