This place simply doesn’t need recommendations. Once you see their products you won’t go through and once you taste them then you won’t regret it, I swear. The almond croissant is soft like cloud, moisty and full of flavor. Brownie is perfect and macaroons of course exceptional. Hot mocha had much more chocolate than I expected - so this is WOW. I just love the place for alternatives of traditional milk you can choose between many: soy, almond, coconut and more and for aesthetics: plates, mugs, interior design. The place is very clean and nicely designed and the service is just lovely. Well, if you ask me where the heaven is I would say: exactly here.
Absolutely adorable. Well-lit. Plenty of seating. Delicious pastries must try the pistachio macaron and a blueberry scone. Their lemonade is refreshing and tart as well! Definitely come here!
Relatively new coffee joint in Greenpoint, I tried the Chai late it was pretty good but overpriced indeed. It’s locatited right by the corner but it’s extremely difficult to get a parking spot around there if you are driving. Overall it has a good atmosphere if you can pay the high coffee prices
They have the worst ordering system ever. You cannot go inside which is understandable but then they added extra unnecessary complications by forcing people to order via seamless or delivery apps. Kind of defeats the whole point of having a bakery. The man I spoke to was so far away from the window and the lowest sounding voice I just left out of frustration. I like to support small businesses but this is the kind that deserves to go bankrupt. Yes, that’s how I really feel.
It was ok. I usually purchase from the location near Brooklyn heights. I did not see that local available on maps though. So I chose this location as an alternative, service was pretty quick. However I was unable to enter or see inside. Although we are in a time of covid I would have like to enter, or at least being able to see the inside area of the bakery I am purchasing from. Young lady was pleasant and prompt. Not sure if they all are adopting this proceeding, since other establishments are allowing patrons to enter. As for the products, I was made aware that they were really good. Where purchased by myself as a gift to a loved one.
Excellent macaroons. They are fresh and a wide variety of flavors, even nutella! I tend to not eat sweets, but was gifted a box, and I enjoyed this treat after dinners. I am sending a box to my mom for the holidays.
Excellent coffee and macaroons! Michelle and her staff are so nice to our patients. They really help parents and caregivers relax while their loved ones are in surgery. Several parents have commented on the excellent customer service.
The service is excellent. The staff are inviting and professional. We liked the coffee very much. The latte that we had on three visits was better than any other place, including Starbucks. The coffee that Woops uses is very tasteful and not bitter. My wife loves the macarons. I liked the cookies and pastries. We brought home to Virginia a meld of macarons and cookies. The quality and taste were wonderful. We will for sure visit again when we next go to Brooklyn. The shop is quite tasteful in its design and decoration and does have the ambiance of France. My wife loved the presence of fresh flowers - something rarely seen in a bakeshop/coffee place. Go there!
Amazing staff. Gave us a bag of cookies and water for free after our first visit there. They are always a pleasure I go back when I can. Coffee is delicious, croissants are fresh. Support!!!
This place has the most cumbersome and annoying order system I've ever experienced during the pandemic. Even with a person working behind the counter AND an open window, customers cannot see what they're ordering. After several attempts to see inside, I was handed a tiny decoder card of cookie colors and told I had to manually order each colored macaron one by one. I was ordering a bunch, so this process had me outside plugging away on my phone for a solid 10+ min., when I simply could've pointed to what I wanted and be done with it. There was so much friction in the ordering system, I almost walked away. Even worse, when I got home my cookies were muddy colored, dented and old. Nothing like the pics on their little card. I'm all for supporting local biz, but this was a MAJOR disappointment. Bottom line: if you are looking for macarons, go somewhere else. Preferably a place where you don't have to jump through hoops to order and pay top $ for mediocre cookies. I won't be visiting again.
