We had an amazing experience with Ruben and the Workshop Underground staff designing our engagement ring. They were extremely approachable and helpful. We had very specific asks, and Ruben went above-and-beyond to build the exact ring we envisioned. We will definitely return to Workshop Underground for custom jewelry.

It's nice to have an independent jewelry shop I can go to for buying my wife's birthday, Christmas, and Valentine's Day gifts without having to go to Center City proper. They've always been super helpful and have a nice selection of jewelry.

Ben is so great to work with! We worked with him to create my engagement ring and then both our wedding bands! They came out so beautiful and perfect! Ruben is the best! I went to Workshop Underground for my wife's engagement ring, and then back again for her wedding band. Ruben was so nice, knowledgeable, and fun to work with. He expertly walked me through the process of designing a ring that my wife absolutely adores. He also worked within my budget and never pushed me to spend more. The price was amazing for what we got and everyone is constantly complementing my wife on her ring. I couldn't imagine a better place to get a ring.

Absolutely disappointing and unprofessional. We went to them since we wanted to work with a local shop on our engagement ring, their guy seemed nice, but it theirs out he wasn’t experienced or qualified and was bs’ing his way through things. When we asked some simple clarification questions he told us he could t work with us anymore, ran away and disappeared, with only a couple months before the wedding leaving us without a ring. The diamond we gave him to use when it came back was clearly substituted with another cheaper one, and our inquiries went unanswered. This is theft, and these folks are un trustworthy and not a professional operation or interested in any kind of respectful and honest customer service. Stay clear of them and work with someone more on the level.

To say this store is amazing is an understatement. I have lived around the corner from Workshop Underground for a few years now, and have amassed quite a collection of their jewelry. Every time I wear one of their pieces, I receive raving compliments. Whether it’s a necklace, bracelet, or earrings, the quality and style is top notch. Recently, I had a necklace specially made for my niece for the holidays. The necklace was designed and completed within three days! The customer service is truly next level. Finally, Rubin, the owner, along with his staff, is the epitome of kindness. His smile and laugh is infectious, and he is always around to assist you! Rubin is the quintessential small business owner—always around, always involved, and always giving to the community. Rubin does not hesitate to donate his pieces for charitable causes. Workshop Underground is truly a gem and should be the first stop on your holiday shopping list.
