This is one of the famous pool in Worthington. This one is on Dublin Granville road and in between 270 and 23. I have been here for my daughters class, as they have teaching lessons for all ages. The class schedule is on their site. The staff are friendly and help you to navigate in this location. They have one big indoor pool and two outside pools. Outside pools are open for public in summers. If you are member it’s free but non member they have daily fees. The outside pools are fun as they have slides and all. If you love swimming and around this place then you should visit!!
I have lived here almost my whole life and my kids have taken swim lessons many seasons before this with no issues but new new management is clearly an problem. The indoor swim lessons here are now a complete and utter trainwreck. Insructors never show up and no one ever bothers to tell you so you wait around for a lesson that doesn't happen half the time. What good staff there is are fed up with having to pick up the slack for the ones who should have been fired a long time ago. This has been going on and on for months now. We have gotten at least two or three refunds because the instructor never showed up and no one bothered to tell us and after we waited around wondering where they were. The staff is also rude and disrespectful. Numerous customers have written letters to management after instructors have not shown up multiple times and absolutely nothing has been done to fix the problem. People are noting coming back tonthusbplace after this season. We were told by management that they run a pretty tight ship but let me tell you this ship is sinking. Do yourself a favor a go anwhere but here. They don't deserve our money and we don't deserve to have our time wasted and then be disrespected.
Very nice experience! Clean, family friendly, affordable, pool entry-level for all since there are steps! There were a lot of happy faces running around so I know I wasn't the only one! My kids and I love, love, love going swimming!
My kids love seeing their friends there, and I appreciate the adult-only pool, but it really is a rather run down facility.
My family with 2 younger kids became members of the pool last year and it's been a great experience! We go pretty much every Sunday morning in the Summer and numerous times during the week. Pool staff is always friendly and attentive. They've got 2 diving boards, shallow areas for the younger kids, BIG fun slide, splash pad, grassy areas, pavilion, and snack bar. We love to go with all our neighbors; the kids have so much fun. Great place. It's run by a Worthington non-profit vs the city like other pools and there are many cool updates coming soon. Highly recommend!
My family has been members for years and continue to meet our friends there to relax and watch the kids play. There is an adults only pool if you are in the mood to exercise, which I really enjoy. The kids love the huge water slide and diving boards. There is also plenty of space for the older kids to hang out with their friends in the grass or hang hammocks in the trees during rest periods. Great staff, always friendly and inviting!! I highly recommend.
Go To Local facility, a bit dated.
We are a swim family and moved from Clintonville in 2015 after the closing of Olympic. We wanted a community with a strong center point and Worthington pool is that community connector for us. They do a fantastic job of maintaining the facility as well as creating a safe and fun space for the neighborhood, as large as it is. The membership fees are reasonable and the staff is welcoming and friendly. I have been dropping my daughter off since she was 10 and had no worries that she would be safe. Thank you for all you do for our community in creating great summer memories and keeping our kids safe and swimming! -Heather Llewellyn-Antonetz
So many pool options and a splash pad for the kids. There is an adult only pool which offers a quiet spot. Lots of shade available, tons of chairs to lounge in and concessions.
Pool is poorly maintained, if you aren't a member fee is expensive, membership costs an arm and a leg, concession stand is a mess, lifeguards are alright, on certain days teenagers take over the pool and play loud music. The pool itself is not a place for adults and older people to enjoy, all pools have children in them but this pool has massive quantities of them making it hard for adults and older people to relax. Only thing good about it in my opinion are the lifeguards.
