Best Brewery in Arizona and one of the best in America They absolutely crush it with their lagers, and hazy IPAs Can’t believe I have not given these guys a review before. If you ever get a chance to try their La Clara Especial Mexican lager aged in Sotol barrels it is absolutely INCREDIBLE Friendly bartenders and great serviceTheir stouts are Everything they brew is Amazing. Small place with no TVs but everytime I go there I have an awesome memorable conversationMust visit if in Phoenix 5/5stars
Came here solo early on a Thursday evening on a work trip, saw this place was highly recommended on Reddit. Incredible beer, really great bartender, adorable cat, honestly just great vibes. They will do 5oz pours of most things on the menu so you can try a lot without being annoying and asking for free samples! If I lived in Phoenix, I’d be here all the time.
For those that love IPAs and delicious craft brews you can't go wrong. Met up with a buddy and we brought in our own food and a laptop to watch some playoff basketball and just hangout. Love that we are able to do that as the Wren specializes in beer and people. You are always greeted by smiles and treated with kindness. No frills just great open space to hang with friends and easily make new ones.
Delicious beers and great set up. Love that there are different areas to hang out, especially the mist in the heat. Great variety of beer and each one we tried was outstanding. Crowded on a Saturday afternoon! The house cat was cute too.
Used to be a favorite of ours; the bartenders were nice and accommodating and the atmosphere was super chill. Within the last couple months we were getting attitude and rude service for which we took our business elsewhere. Beer overall is predominantly IPA, if you’re into anything else the Lady Banks is the only other reason to check it out that’s if you like a good sour. Otherwise okay to swipe left.
Overall great vibes and energy here. The bartender that everyone is leaving negative reviews about was friendly to us. Loved the outdoor seating and the chill atmosphere!
I have never seen more Hazy IPA's in one location. Absolutely fabulous beers and the brewery is in a really nice old house. I wish I lived closer to this place. Definitely coming back. Oh and it has a Brewery Cat! You see dogs at every brewery but never Cats. Cats rule.
Wrenhouse is a great little spot! Their brews are creative and their workers are all knowledgeable about their menu and can help guide you to something you’ll like. Especially for craft beer this is very affordable and the atmosphere is pleasant- they even have a resident kitty : They don’t serve food here but if it’s before 10pm I recommend checking out Pa’La next door for tapas & wood fired cooking
Not a lot to say. We stopped in for a beer while trafilfic was easing up. The place was nothing special. The beer, Spellbinder, was pretty good. The thing that put it over the top for a 5-star were the great people we met. My wifenand I sat next to a newly engaged couple and a couple 35 years married. We had a great conversation about beer, secrets to a great marriage, dogs, and children - quite eclectic! Anyways, we had a wonderful time making new acquaintances. We wish we would have got contact info ro stay in touch, but it was not to be. The brewery seemed like a local hangout as it was packed at 2pm on a Friday. We would love to come back and continue the conversation. Recommend!
Definitely my favorite and one of the coolest breweries in the city. Perfect for a Saturday or Sunday afternoon drink and a must stop when visiting Phoenix. They are near the airport and a great place to unwind after a long flight.
