Yellowstone Art Museum

Really great experience, I attended with large group of children scouting requirement and we were greeted with a smile, the security guard offered to give us a tour as no docents were readily available. The children stayed engaged with the guide and had a great time exploring the exhibits. Highly recommend for all ages and admission is free for next 3 years!

Very beautiful artwork displayed here. I was amazed at all the wonderful pieces. The museum is pretty small, though, so our time there was short.

Went here on a whim with my kids today. Nice facility - clean and nice displays. Thought the admission process was a little high for adults. I was hoping there would be a little more on display for the price. went to this museum on a chilly october afternoon and the atmosphere was perfect. beautiful works of art all around with a cute gift shop to boot. some exhibits were closed off or under construction the day we had walked in so our tickets were cheaper than usual. REALLY enjoyed the "global asias" exhibit and the artist-in-residence's exhibit at the time. lots of inspiration to be found here!

Very unique art museum. Strategically thought out to represent the culture surrounding the area. My favorite part was the Remember Me section. Looking at all the photos and the quotes to go with them were nice. Overall the space is quite small but very well put together.

We had friends in from out of town on what just happened to be first Friday. The first Friday of each month has free admission from 4-8pm. We really enjoyed walking around and looking at the exhibits. Can't say enough nice things about the staff. One of our friends was on crutches and needed a wheelchair. They have one available on a first come, first serve basis for those in need. Great overall experience.

What an AMAZING masquerade party. Totally out of this world! The YAM exceeded my every expectation of a masquerade party. The curation of theme events, elements, decor and entertainment was phenomenal. I kept thinking… am I really in Billings, MT? The event coordinator and staff made a statement with this years masquerade!

A nice contemporary art museum. Right now, not all the wings are open but we were able to get in on a discounted price. The collection that is available for viewing right now is absolutely lovely. Also, they do require patrons to mask up to visit as of July 28, 2021

Expensive, extremely warm when we went. Air conditioning did not work. The exibits weren't what we were interested in but next ones may be. Freindly Staff and it is very clean.
