YMCA of South Hampton Roads

I really dislike that there's not a separate sauna in the women's locker room like the one in great bridge. I don't like sharing saunas with creepy men. Sometimes the sauna and steam room smell like urine and it's nasty that's it's in the same area as the pool where mold and dampness can accumulate.

Always a relaxing and joyful experience in the spa/wet area. My routine of sauna, pool, hot tub, pool, steam room and pool again as a final cool down before calling it a day with a nice hot to cool shower. All done in 2 hours. I get home, take a 20-30 min. walk and then a nice nap. That makes my day!

Nice very friendly atmosphere. Great staff!!! If it had a basketball court, i'd rate it 5 stars. But even without it, its still a nice place to get fit. This YMCA will help you stay in shape with all the group exercises, weight and cardio room. Can get packed quick get in earlyif you can .
