Singularly one of the best places to eat in Wichita- regardless of your taste, they have something for everyone! Don’t miss out on the opportunity to give your taste buds the delight of their lives’. I have never, and I mean NEVER had such impeccably amazing service throughout the entirety of a customer-restaurant relationship. This is a diamond in the rough. Parking is always a fun adventure in this area of downtown/Delano, but it’s well worth the walk… and you will need the exercise. A little food here goes a long way!
Pleasantly surprise. Opened the door and the place was so cute. There is also an outside setting area. We choose a noodle dish and a rice dish. Both dishes had so much flavor. I could only eat half they gave us so much. They also have a bar in back and a drink list that looks fun to try.
For a joint promoting boba, the boba mixes should be refrigerated. Mine was poured from a premix room temperature over ice. Took a while to get cold. But it wouldn't keep me from going back. Plus, the interior of the restaurant was cramped and crowded just trying to place my order. Poor people sitting at the few 2-top tables trying to eat dinner had people crowding over them trying to place orders. They should think about setting the dining experience up differently I know I wouldn't want strangers butts staring me in my face while I'm trying to eat my food while sitting at a small table.
I don’t understand the reviews I see here at all. Maybe something has changed with Covid? #1 the ramen is just not good. $30 for a meal for 1. Including basic appetizer and Boba Tea. The spicy broth had little to no flavor developed which made sense when you look on the bottom of the broth cup they give you. It had a big chunk of unresolved quick broth mix in the bottom. The broth is far from made in house. Added into the bowl was a cold egg, squishy corn, and large slices of almost raw garlic. The flavors where all over the map. Harsh garlic mixed with a bland broth and cold egg. I ate in. It appears the “to go” containers are the new food bowls for everyone. That is a lot of waste going in the garbage when a simple ceramic bowl would provide a much better eating experience. I just don’t understand places like this. I don’t know if the reviews from folks come from people with any experience of good quality ramen. This is clearly not what I would expect based on the reviews I read.
Small town feel with big Ramen flavor. One of my favorite spots in Wichita. Hard to go wrong with anything on the menu but my personal favorites are the Black Garlic Tonkotsu or the Chicken Paitan Ramen.
There was an egg shell in one of the entrees and I think we were given old crusty rice . I'm down to try this place again but I would recommend going close to closing. I spent 70 bucks on food that I didn't feel comfortable eating. Which kinda of sucks pretty bad.Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes
We were just passing through Wichita and wanted a quick lunch. I'm not a Kansas native and I felt that Wichita is very underwhelming, so I was surprised to find a ramen joint that can probably hold its own on the West/East coast. We got the black garlic ramen and black truffle ramen. These are non-traditional strong flavors and they tasted good. Not mind blowing, but also exceeds expectations for a small town like Wichita.
Absolutely delicious. I love the Spicy garlic chicken. It's my favorite thing to get. Maybe eventually I'll order out of my comfort zone. Their Boba is delicious too!
Stopped here on our road trip and it was a great find. I had the tonkatsu pork with garlic seasoned rice. It was delicious, especially the rice. The pork was a bit dry and chewy, but the breading had a nice flavor. My husband had the spicy miso ramen, and it was full of flavor. Next time I want to try their boba teas.
first off, excellent service. felt so acknowledged and welcomed! the environment was awesome - japanese culture all over :o. the employees were super kind, there was a blonde employee that i did not get their name, but they were our server - super helpful and patient with us! appreciate u so much <3 the menu is HUGE - so much variety and choices, me and my s/o could not decide what to get as it all sounded so good. got the option of one bowl of ramen, one bowl of rice + meat, and options for apps and desserts to try out enough. ordered the takoyaki, katsu bowl, curry tonkatsu ramen, and vanilla mille crepe cake. LOVED THEM ALL. 2pm-6pm is the happy hour where apps and desserts are $5 - wish I tried out more apps besides the takoyaki; however, HIGHLY recommend the takoyaki poke a hole in each so they can cool down!!! will burn your mouth if you are not careful enough or don't know much about takoyaki! the katsu bowl was so good, all cooked to perfection golden brown, crunchy crust, and cooked all the way on top of a bed of rice. the bowl was small but it tested my s/o's patience LOL the curry tonkatsu ramen was so good. probably the best ramen i have ever had and wish more ramen shops carried this! it is a HUGE bowl and everything in there was so delicious and tasted fresh! the curry is the japanese type of curry mixed into the broth. mix of vegetables, tonkatsu meat that fell apart + melted in your mouth, and perfectly made soy sauce egg. the price is so good! total came up around 35-40 dollars with tip. ordered a lot for two people and we came out super full and happy. i am not from kansas so i will be missing this restaurant a lot T_T that curry tonkatsu broth was chef's kiss. thank you for existing when me and my s/o were trying to find a place to eat at. hope this shop comes to minnesota <3
