What can I say....its gorgeous!!! They merchandise so well with all the colors together. Love the glam.
The staff was very friendly and helped me find the items I specifically needed for my mom’s birthday. They were out of one piece of a set I purchased, so ordered that piece. They said it would be in on Tuesday, I come in Saturday never receiving a call that it was in and they cannot find it then say the delivery truck was delayed delayed I guess 5 days. I never received a call at all and now I don’t have a full gift for my mom’s birthday tomorrow.
I placed an order on July 3 and was told it would arrive in 3 months. I called the store at the 3 month mark and was told “any day now.” I went on vacation and it still hadn’t arrived. When I called again in mid October, Mark, the store manager, told me my sofa was next on the list to leave SC and would come directly to Denver instead of going to CA as is the normal route. And I would be getting a request for delivery in about 5 days. A week later I spoke to a different person in the store who said I was #17! Next call I was told it left SC on November 4 and should get a call in 5 days when it reaches Denver. Today, Nov 19, I was told they have discontinued using that carrier because of these problems and he will work on tracking my sofa. In the meantime, since it’s a custom order, I’ve been paying monthly since the purchase in July. And I’m told I may get compensation for the delay, not in a reduction of the price refund but in the form of a gift card! Everything about Z Gallerie’s handling of my purchase is unacceptable,
Customer service is horrible! I ordered a Dining table over 16 weeks ago and still have not received it. I’m told a different story about when I will receive the item every time I call. I’m also told they will look into it and call me back, which they never do. The website says it ships in 6-7 weeks. I asked about canceling the item and was told I’d have to pay a restocking fee! Now I understand why all the stores are closing. DO NOT ORDER FROM!
Beautiful selection but HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I ordered a custom sofa not cheap from a totally distracted sales person, waited three months, only to receive the sofa in the correct color but wrong textile, AND it was “assembled” without the proper mechanism to connect the two pieces of the sofa, which is a safety hazard. Because it is the right color and the fabric isn’t uncomfortable, I decided to keep the incorrect couch instead of sending it back and waiting another three months; I just wanted proper compensation for the mistake, plus the part to put the damn thing together. I contacted the store on the phone, and they claimed they would assist me via email. Over the course of two weeks, I sent four emails with the requested photo evidence of the errors and received two vague and unapologetic replies with no real information. I finally contacted the company’s upper-level customer care, only to learn that individual stores do not handle such matters—so why did the store’s management repeatedly claim they would assist me instead of pointing me in the appropriate direction? Probably to avoid letting their own superiors know the extent of their errors? This is easily some of the worst customer service I’ve ever received. I will never set foot in this location again! Inexperienced sales associates and negligent management.
Z Gallerie delivered a sofa and 2 chairs I ordered, but the delivery people were running late. They brought the sofa and chairs in and rushed right out the door, not giving me a chance to check out the sofa while they were present, or else I would have rejected the sofa. The sofa was shedding a bit, so I started vacuuming it and noticed a small mark on the arm that wasn't visible previously. It looks like a small cut 1/2 inch and feels hard as if it has been repaired on the backside of the fabric.Then, when I sat on it, it made a loud popping noise in the back support. I called Z Gallerie about these items, first reporting the loud pop, and then trying to report the cut that apears to be repaired. Customer service asked how the cut happened--I said it was delivered that way. She said not to worry about the cut, just point it out to the technician. When the technician finally came took quite a while for Z Gallerie to schedule, he said the popping noise is normal because it's a single piece tuffed back. I have another sofa by the same manufacturer and it doesn't pop. I tried to discuss this with him. He was not interested--of course it's to his and the store's benefit to convince me that loud popping when you sit is normal. He didn't have the cut listed in his report and did not want to discuss it, but after I insisted several times, he eventually took pictures. Another couple of weeks went by with no response. I called Z Galleries customer service, who reported that their technician says its not a defect, so there is nothing they will do. I asked about the cut--again, they wanted to know how it got there. I asked her to read the notes from my last call. She verified they took the notes about the cut. They are going to "bring" this to their manager. I don't have a very good feeling about this being resolved so that I get a sofa free of defects. Stay tuned! I'll let you know if they deserve to have their rating revised upward.
Great store. Very friendly staff. We purchased some pieces and had them shipped and there was a slight mixup with our order and I called and they happily took care of it for me and made it easy! Great customer service! Thank you Andrea, we will be back!
Fraud! DO NOT BUY! Bought a sectional that arrived damaged. Was talking to manager about replacing pieces. After getting NO traction, tried to work with customer service several reps and a manager. Each time after explaining the situation and sending FULL documentation delivery receipt noting damage, pictures, all communications, the person ceased responding. Never received replacement sections or any partial refund
Used to be one of my favorite stores spent thousands here. Had a mix of bling, colors, retro, and class. Even the artwork had a better mix. Now it looks like Liberace vomited all over the place. Not a place for my decorator to even consider anymore.
I returned an item for almost $200 and got store credit, when I went back to the store 6 months later to use the gift card the balance had $0 on it. They were unhelpful and rude in the store and told me to call customer service, when I called customer service they said there was nothing they could do. Very unfair, I will not be going back to this store.
