Zara's Mediterranean Kitchen

This is a charming and warm family owned restaurant. The wait staff is personable and are often times the owners themselves checking how the meal went. The food itself is exceptional with quick turn around times. As odd as it sounds, I have yet to find better waffle fries in Houston. I would wholeheartedly recommend Zara’s to a friend. It’s colorful decor keeps you entertained and engaged for the short time it takes to receive your order. The food is so good you’ll find yourself wishing for leftovers the next day.

Food always comes out tasting great, my favorite is the chicken shawarma. Service can be slow, though they are always so nice. I just think they need to hire another server or two, looks like it's a family run operation right now. So if you go for lunch during the work week, put in your entire order when they first ask about beverages and ask for the check when you are nearly done eating.

Truly incredible food and service! It’s honestly hard to find authentic seasoned food; no matter what style cuisine so when you do find it, it’s always a treat! One of the best Mediterranean meals we have had the pleasure of eating and don’t forget the tea! It’s magical 😉

Good spot for some authentic Mediterranean food. Rivals some of the better spots inside the loop which to be honest is exceedingly rare these days. Got a mixed platter for two and it was a loaded plate of meats rice and salad. The do not serve alcohol but do have some nice good fruit juices, mint tea and Turkish coffee.

Delicious and fresh! We truly enjoyed our dinner! We ordered hummus, falafel, gyros, salad and a BURGER for my picky daughter, it was all outstanding. Servers were very friendly and attentive. Restaurant is clean and decor is nice. We’ll definitely return!
