I cannot rave enough about ZenaRose! The gals here are just above and beyond good. I've been in the tv/film industry for several years and so I know when someone knows what they are doing. This salon REALLY knows what it's doing. I hired them for my wedding for both hair and makeup and I come to them independently for my general salon needs, as well. The work they did on my bridal party and me for my wedding was just above and beyond fantastic. I booked Marina for wedding hair and makeup after reading amazing review after amazing review online. I had a crush the minute I stepped into her salon. The interior design gives off an old world glam / a bomb a** boss b*tch operates here and oh talk about attention to detail! - I see a beautiful new piece or picture each time I visit. I was smitten within 10 minutes of meeting the team; these girls will make you feel welcome, heard, and like a QUEEN! I was IN LOVE after my trial...period. Marina absolutely nailed the wedding hair and makeup for my bestie and I and we truly had so much fun in the process. I, as well as my bestie, are now regulars at ZenaRose, I swear the two of us think of any reason to go in and have event makeup done with Marina - she REALLY makes you feel that beautiful inside and out and my hair has never been so beautifully highlighted, long and HEALTHY! ZenaRose is the best in the biz. Marina, Carolyn, and team are a total dream and fun! to work with. Carolyn had my back through two postponed wedding dates, always quick and happy to pivot the plan! Marina and Britt finally did my wedding hair and makeup in September 2021 and I can't say enough about the whole experience - from trial to the day of was so fun, stress free and the end result was better than I imagined!Services: Haircut

I had the absolute best experience with all of the lovely ladies of ZenaRose. My wedding was postponed 3+ times and each time Carolyn made it such a seamless process to reschedule and made me feel super supported. Marina even accommodated two trials for me there has been well over a year between them because of the pandemic!. On the day of my wedding, all of the girls were super welcoming and fun. They did an amazing job with not just my hair and makeup, but also my entire party 7 bridesmaids + moms. They gave each person a style unique to them and even added fun finishing touches with flowers. We had the perfect morning hanging out at the salon, which created such a relaxing and wonderful start to our big day! Plus, the beautiful design of the salon made for an awesome backdrop for the photos! I would recommend Carolyn, Marina, and their team to anyone looking for attention to detail, beautiful and unique hair and makeup styles, and a group of fun and supportive women!

ZenaRose did my makeup and hair for my wedding through the Bridal Package. While my makeup and hair artist was lovely to work with, I had an overall negative experience with ZenaRose as an institution and would not go back here again. This started in my interactions with the manager at ZenaRose who is responsible for booking weddings. When I explained that I do not have a Bridal Party in my culture and that I would only be needing styling services for myself, she made dismissive and culturally insensitive remarks about this. She also constantly interrupts during communication and communicates in a condescending way. Based on this experience, I felt that ZenaRose was not well equipped to work with people from different cultural backgrounds, especially people of color. I also asked for a certain type of lashes to be brought on the wedding day and that was not communicated with the stylist who only had less full lashes. Regarding the actual service: my makeup was lovely but my hair was just ok and fell very quickly due to not using the right products even after communicating this post-trial. The cost is also exorbitant for the quality of the service and the bridal package is dramatically overcharged for the quality of the service and other local pricing. If we weren’t coming out of a pandemic and other choices were not booked already, I would not have gone with ZenaRose due to my negative early interactions with them during/around the trial. Marina and the girls at ZenaRose were all so welcoming and I walked away so happy with my balayage/color and cut! Marina's salon is stunning, and you can tell she puts just as much time, care, and thought into the services she provides as she does the environment she has created. Overall, this was the best cut/coloring experience I have ever had and look forward to the next time I get to visit. I will not be going anywhere else and will be recommending ZenaRose to all of my family and friends moving forward! ZENAROSE is amazing! My favourite salon in Boston. Last week I got a haircut and highlights at a different salon, and I was okay with the outcome but felt like something was a little off. I came in today to ZENAROSE, my first time, and I saw Kelli. I let her know some of my hair goals toning my hair, doing a reparative treatment, ending in a super-sleek straight blow out. When I go to other salons, it can be hit or miss, and even at best there's usually an adjustment period as the hairstylist figures out my hair. Kelli was amazing from start to finish, so responsive and perceptive, and I hit all my hair goals. I love my hair and have gotten so many compliments.Services: Hair hydration treatments

My bridesmaids and I got our hair and makeup done by Britt and Ri on my wedding day in-salon package. I could not be happier with how our whole ZenaRose experience went! From my trial with Britt, I could see how much expertise she had, how well she worked with the rest of the ZenaRose team, and how willing she was to listen to my preferences. I am Asian and was a bit worried at how she would handle my eye makeup, but we tried a couple of different things and she totally nailed it! Plus, I also have dyed blond hair, and Britt squeezed me in for a gloss two weeks before the wedding to get the color just right which worked great even though I had done an unfortunate at-home toner. On the day of, Britt and Ri were NON STOP from the second we got there, getting us done even a couple minutes ahead of schedule. Each bridesmaid looked fantastic and I am still getting compliments about my bridal wedding day makeup. Best part was, both hair and makeup stayed in place all day! Carolyn, the manager, is a delight and was so easy to schedule with and brought great energy on the wedding day. I highly recommend the team at ZenaRose, especially Britt, for your wedding makeup and hair!

Kelli cut my hair and it was the best haircut I’ve ever had. I live in Dallas and I will be flying back to have her cut my hair again. Her recommendations were amazing and she was extremely respectful. If you’re looking to get your haircut I highly recommend her.Services: Haircut
