I am a huge fan of art and the owner of the gallery is one of our frequent visitors. So, after Lady Qwenolee told me about "Kazuko Miyamoto," a well-known Japanese contemporary artist, I too paid my respects and went to the art gallery with my girlfriend. Every piece was distinctive, and it surprised me that some of Kazuko's artwork was created and shown there. The NEW YORK Kazuko Miyamoto Works 1964–1980, September 7–October 25, 2017, titled: Male I and Female, was a display of Kazuko art that Qwen did show us. You can really tell how enthusiastic and passionate she is about her galleries and the arts. Pretty can answer any question and know the history really well for all of her pieces.
Cool, unpretentious little gallery space curated and owned by a woman who's passionate about her craft. Interesting exhibits flow through here from time to time. Hours might not be accurate due to COVID.
This is by far my favorite gallery in all of New York for local NYC-based artists and collaborations. Gwenolyn is so knowledgeable, and the artwork is always such a mind-blowing caliber for such a small space. Packs an art punch!
I found this gallery with my mother and we loved it. Is a decent size but can house many different pieces and had beautiful artwork.
