Zuschke Eva M MD

Dr Eva was my Dr from 1995 to Dec 2018. Unfortunately, because of my employer changing insurance companies, I had to choose another Dr....i miss her tremendously! Dr Eva is a wonderful caring doctor. She always listens, and never rushes her patients through their appointments. Her staff has always been very helpful.

I LOVE Dr. Eva. She always listens to my concerns and never rushes me. However, I'd give her NEWER staff ZERO stars as they are rude, critical, and judgmental. If you are late, they scold you even though this is coming from a snot-nosed 20 something staff person. They say you have to re-schedule even if 5-10 minutes late and Dr. Eva allows 30 minutes for an appointment. I have to barter with them and take my penalty of less time with the MD. Both of them are BAD. Her prior staff members, especially Laura, went out of their way to be helpful. Since I moved, it is over an hour drive and I cannot predict accidents, road work, traffic, etc. that gets in my way to get there. So, I won't be going back to get abused by them. I'm averaging my review to 3 stars MAINLY because of her staff. I give Dr. Eva 5 stars! She needs to replace her staff or she'll lose more patients.

I appreciate Dr. Eva and her staff. They are always cordial with me and treat me like a friend or family member. Even though Dr. Eva is the only physician in the office, I never have to wait long - even when I'm in the walk-in spot in the afternoon - and i never feel rushed with I'm with her. she always takes her time to listen to my concerns, involve me in deciding the appropriate treatment, and makes sure to answer any questions that I have. I really appreciate that Dr. Eva does her best to treat me instead of referring me to others for treatment and, when she does need to refer me, she still tries to provide some sort of treatment in the interim to alleviate the symptoms of whatever issue I am encountering. I like that Dr. Eva doesn't pretend she knows everything; if she doesn't have the answer, she accepts that and will just tell me, then help me find somebody who will have the answer. The first time I met Dr. Eva, i was immediately at ease because of her warm, welcoming personality. If you're looking for somebody who will take their time with you and treat you like you're part of the team, look no further.

Dr Zuschke could be the best doctor on this planet, but I would never know, as I am not coming back to her office. Had a new patient appointment today with high hopes to experience great healthcare, but due to unforeseen events I arrived late. I was in the office at 3:20 for a 3:30 appointment and was basically scolded by the rude receptionist and was told that they will have to cancel my appointment and not be able to see me today. I was told that it will take more than 20 minutes for me to fill out the paperwork and by that time the Doctor will not be able to see me! In a very rude and condescending tone! NOT appreciated! I am sorry, but I have no respect for someone who employees people like that and has them as their face and front of their business and let’s them treat people like I was treated today! I have filled out “new patient paperwork” plenty of times and it has never ever taking me more than 10 minutes, unless it was a complicated medical procedure! To the receptionist - if you are reading this for one reason or another, please consider a job where you don’t have to deal with people and face the public! Your attitude was ugly! To the Doctor - please consider a nice and courteous person for this job - there are so many people out there that are looking for a job and would be great! Again, I would have loved to find my new favorite primary care Doctor, but this office is not it!!

I have seen a number of primary care physicians in my life and have been largely disappointed by either the doctor, the staff or sometimes both. Dr. Zuschke is the first doctor in all of my years who I felt truly listens to me and promotes healthy living without making me feel ashamed/overwhelmed by making changes. The office isn't fancy, but the staff is friendly and helpful, Dr. Eva is friendly and accessible and I will stay with her for as long as she's in practice.

As a retired RN I am aware of what is great medical care. I took my mom to doctor Eva fof several years. Her staff is very good also and she is one of the nicest and best doctors I have ever encountered. I would recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Eva is one of the most intelligent doctors we have ever known. She cares about each of her patients and it shows. Thank you Dr. Eva for the care you have given my family over the years.

I really like Dr. Zuschke, but her staff is horrible, especially Laura. A simple correction to paperwork needs to be made so that my insurance will cover my office visit, but she refuses to do it and just sits on the phone and argues with me. It doesn't even affect them monetarily - it just means they will be paid by my insurance and not out of my pocket. Ridiculous!

She is such an amazing doctor. I've been looking for a primary care doctor in Phoenix for 3 years and I finally found the right one. She actually listens and care about her patients. Definitely would recommend.

This is the old-time family doctor we all thought no longer existed. Doctor takes all the time you need. Good referrals when needed, also.
