If you’re in the area this is a … must visit. Jim is very friendly, welcomed us in and directed us upstairs. The museum is all in a small car garage but still packs so much to see. It’s open the 2nd Sunday of every month. Jim does a great job of sucking you into this world and mystery that envelopes it. I’m glad that so much is left for you to interpret and visualize on your own. There’s lots of labels for things that are worth the read that serve as a guide in this wondrous world. We spent about 30 minutes and could have easily been there longer which says a lot about the usage of small space. Cool selection of gift shop items and no pressure to buy anything ! Did i mention it’s FREE admission ? this man could easily charge for this and is letting us into his world for free. Cool cool man. Will definitely stop by again in some time to see any new additions and maybe buy some books !

Such a cool tiny museum! So many eclectic, organic, art pieces and specimens to explore. It’s open by appointment only. The artist/curator responded back to my email quickly and I was able to sneak in a visit on my short trip and so glad I did. It’s in a garage and the first floor is the mans workshop and the second floor is the museum that you get private access to for as long as you’d like to examine the work. Wish there was more hidden gems like this near me.
If you’re looking for the weird in Portland, this is your stop. Small, free mueseum takes about 15-20 minutes and it’s located in a small neighborhood with limited parking. Only open the first and fourth Sunday of the month. We were very lucky to catch this unique museum on a weekend it was open as we are from out of town.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree

Interesting place ! Open by appointment which Google Maps does a poor job of showing. Love the pieces we'll have to return sometime in the future to see any new additions. Love the postcards and prints as well : Few photos so you have to check it out yourself
A one of a kind experience. You will be transported to created historical/anthropological region the ‘Zymoglyphic Region” it is an absolute treasure. If you enjoy the bizzare and details in new art you will love this. Not recommended for everyone, but fantastic for those whose audience it seeks.
It looks as if you've pulled up to someone's home. Go inside and visit the museum upstairs; it's magical.
This is a must-see. The attention to detail shows how passionate Jim is about zymoglyphic displays. This is truly an incredible collection.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitPrice for adult entryFree
