Horrible customer service! I work for a local school, and came here to have them make me a key for a lock & handle I had brought them. They said they would have it done that afternoon, to which I replied no problem I’ll be back tomorrow morning, as I am at work and it’s hard to get away. I ask him one more time before I leave that it’ll for sure be done tomorrow morning, to which he said yes. Well come today I come in, the very same guy looks at me and says can I help you. I explain to him why I’m there then he kinda remembers. Looks around for a minute or two tries to call one person then just says it’ll be done later we’ll give you a call. No apologies for wasting my time just a tough luck kind of attitude. Then I asked how are you going to call me? What is my number. Then he sarcastically said it’s on the lock sir. At that point I just walked out and thanked him for awaiting my time. No attempt to take my number down. Just horrible employee, needs to be sent to a customer service class 101. Not one word about their mistake just pretty much my bad for coming when I said I was. We’ll see how they respond and if they even call me.. just absolutely ridiculous!
As usual, superlative service at an absurdly reasonable price. A Side Note: As an experiment I tried the "KeyMe Locksmiths" kiosk at Rite Aid. The key produced worked but was of clearly inferior quality, took twice as long to produce as A-Assured, and cost 3X as much. A worthwhile emergency service, but not in the same league as the professionals at A-Assured.
I had locked myself out of my car and was ready to have an awful day. Luckily for me, A-Assured Lock Shop was just down the street. I was able to walk into the shop, asked if they could help me out, and within probably 30 minutes I was back in my car. These guys saved my butt.
Always nice to run across a professional who knows his business and charges a fair price for the service. Having recently purchased a home in Lake Oswego, I reached out to A-Assured to re-key all the exterior locks in our new home to use the same new key. Glen completed the work promptly and efficiently, charging a very fair price for the work. He even answered the phone when I initially called. Imagine that! Quality work. Shows up on time. Doesn't overcharge.
Folks this place is locked up tight and empty. 6/8/23 UPDATE Received a post from the owner. Thanks for the feedback. I must have been at an old address, across from Rite Aid. Sorry for the confusion. I'll try at the newer address across from the fire station.
Corbin with A-Assured Locksmith worked on an entry key problem I had with my Honda Civic. Great service and communications. Highly recommended!
Great customer service and very helpful. We had multiple lock issues at our new office and they quickly troubleshooted and solved them. Thank you for taking the extra time to get all of needs met in the same day.
Read prev. post. I have used A Assured for past 15+ years and never had a bad experience. Local, professional, ethical. Our most recent experience was just a few weeks ago when my son snapped off tip of key inside the ignition. I let him handle it....he called in the roadside repair guy who spent 2 hours and accomplished nothing except minor damage to the plastic surround. Round 2: Brent came to the car, fixed in under 30 minutes, charged < $100.
Had just moved to Lake Oswego and a file cabinet that I didn't have the key for got locked during the move. I thought I was going to have to drill the lock because another locksmith wanted $65 to come out and put in a new lock. The cabinet wasn't worth that. Instead these guys asked for the number on the lock, made me a key based on that code. The key worked perfectly and it only cost $10. If I ever need locksmith work done, these guys will be the first I call.
