I got my bed from this company due to a referral on the Nextdoor website. I was going to take a chance with a bed in a box, and I'm so glad I didn't go that route. My bed is the most comfortable bed I've ever had. I wanted a soft bed and that's exactly what I  got. I stopped tossing and turning at night and now sleep like a baby. Thank you A1 Better Bed!

They made a custom hybrid bed for us. Half flotation, half adjustable air. Best of both worlds for me and my wife!

My experience was great. After weeks of researching mattresses online I noticed many patterns in advertisement, appearance, cost, promotions, etc.  In fact, some of the guarantees made by a majority of these companies made me question the true quality of mattress I would be receiving if they’re able to throw your $2,000 mattress away after a year of trying it out and give you a full refund. Either the mattress is fantastic and they get very few returns, or their margins are so high they could handle 2 returns for every sale. To say the least, shopping for a mattress was overwhelming and I almost threw in the towel and bought a shiny new mattress online right before I stumbled upon A Better Bed during my lunch break at the delicious bbq joint next door. I was quickly and kindly greeted by Frank as I entered the showroom. Now, the showroom is not much of a showroom, but I could instantly smell the savings from low overhead costs…or maybe that was weed from the hydroponic gardening store they share a wall with. Frank told me about their business and that HE makes the mattresses himself! Who can honestly say, I know where and by who my mattress was made? I thought that was cool if you can’t tell. I tested out what he had in the showroom and decided to go with their tried and true classic 14” flippable mattress. I think he called it the A-4. He did offer full customization, but I figured his guarantee to make adjustments after we tried it out was good enough. We already waited a year to receive supply chain bottlenecked bedroom furniture, so I was eager to just get something quick. Less than 2 weeks after ordering, Frank delivered it right to our bedroom. After a month of sleeping on it I am happy with my purchase. I’m 6’1” and about 180 pounds.  My last mattress left me with shoulder shoulder pain almost nightly. So far, the pain is gone with this new mattress. If things change down the road I’ll update this review. One last thing, the price is solid and can’t be beat.

The staff is very polite and very helpful. My 7 year old loves his bed. His mattress is very well made. We were advise to take it in if we were unhappy with the product. I am happy to support local businesses. I understand this place has been in business for some years now. Their experience shows in the products they make.

The owner is very quirky, I like that. He made me and my husband a great bed. I usually wait a while to see if a product is good and we have had it for a few months and we love the bed.

We purchased a rubber slab bed from these folks about 4 years ago. They told us that the topper would sag after a bit - and it did- but this bed has been very supportive and my wife and I have just loved it. I can roll over in the night and not wake my wife. We're getting ready to move to a new house and I'm going to have the mattress topper changed out. We have been very happy with our purchase and would do it again.

These people are really good sales people. They will tell you all kinds of ways that they are better then the competition. But you will not get the bed you ordered. If you have any problems and need an exchange or a repair will ignor your request until you can no longer take advantage of your rights as a consumer. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!  Anyone that I know has bought from them has had similar compalints. Plus there are 4 complaints at the better bussiness burau website with in the last 36 months. In addition someone sued them fresno co supirior court records.

I purchased a CalKing in February 2002.  I have been so happy with the quality and after 18 years i am getting ready to replace my mattress.  I will purchase my new bed from here.

I love my firm mattress that they made for me. I also ordered my bedroom set, my couches, and my dinette set from there. I plan on ordering more furniture from A Better Bed. I love the quality and the price. Thank you Bill.

I have a Rubber bed from Bill. Its been 13 years now. He told is we do not need to flop or turn this type of bed, and that it should last many years. Well....so far after 14 years it's like new! No sags, no break down, we have slept great every night since the day we move it in. I love this Rubber bed I would never try another bed.
