A Better Image Beauty & Barbershop was established in January of 2006 in the Cordova community by Mario Gary Sr. We have a professional and family friendly staff of Licensed Stylists and Barbers to serve you. We pride ourselves on giving you the best customer service we possibly can, because we do understand how important your repeat business and referrals are. Awesome barbershop, very clean and professional barbers. Great atmosphere, great music, kid friendly as the barbers don't smell like weed, don't curse, and no loud obnoxious taking. I have been coming for years and plan to continue. Highly recommend and Kali is my barber.

Horrible service and horrible quality of haircut. The only chance you'll get the quality you want is if your black. My first time there was only because I had no other option since I am not familiar with the area. I had no other choice. I don't recommend this place if you the type of person who looks for quality and value in everything especially with customer service. I felt that since I wasn't black I won't get the attention I should get and the quality in my haircut. Rude barbers and the atmosphere as I got my hair cut was awkward I didn't feel welcomed. I don't recommend this place at all,only if you have no other option. My cut was about 25 minutes long and they guy didn't even use the barber knife nor did he take his time to make sure it was good. He rushed me and didn't do a good job. He cut my hair as if he just wanted me to get out. I only spoke up once after he cut it since the back was a little too long. They barber was in a bad mood and seemed annoyed at me and I haven't gotten his name. If I said anything else about my cut I felt that It would be my fault for wanting the quality I want. I don't understand why my experience went like that but regardless this place isn't worth going to. You're better off going to a beauty salon maybe there you'll get the service you want.
Kudos to Douglas Isom. He's the barber who cuts my hair and massages my face. All of the barbers do an amazing job at the shop.
I've been going here since I was little. Now I've moved around and had a few different barbers. None of them compare to the people here. Every last one of them give high quality haircuts. You'll definitely get your money's worth
Shialanda is the BEST! Prior to Shialanda becoming my hair stylist, my hair was so damaged, that I thought it was beyond repair. Shialanda takes charge; styles my hair according to what she believes looks nice on me; and makes me feel more beautiful after each visit.
