A Great Start Shooting School is a private range and classroom. One on one instruction and other classes offered that are tailored for your needs.
A Great Start is what you will have if you are new to fire arms. Our primary focus is on safety education. If you have a gun in the home but don't want to shoot, we will teach you how to unload a fire arm. If you are curious to find out if guns are something you are really interested in, we offer an intro to gun handling course, before you take your pistol permit class. We do offer the pistol permit class as well once you have decided to take that step.
If you are looking to start shooting and moving, I highly suggest the shooting sports like IDPA and USPSA. We have introduction to those shooting sports as well.
Private lessons are always available to focus on what you are looking to improve on.

Teaching women, men, and children of all ages. Personalized one on one basic firearms training. I will teach you how to be very safety conscious and able to hit your target. Also show you the fun world of the shooting sports. I am looking forward to working with you!
