Broken system run by overpaid bureaucrats, refusing to follow their own rules and guidelines. Apply laws fairly and justly, as per the criminal code. Remove the artificial barriers that are preventing justice from being carried out in an efficient and expedient manner.

The family court system is failiur a profitable catering towards women and mothers ..leching from Males and Fathers . We have been told that once theire is a shared custody mothers usually 100% don't except no laws and order and denied sharing custody with fathers and. The reviews on here are being removed. Why are good Males family Lawyers hard to find. Many Reviews are removed on here Theire need to be a massive reforms on custody, sharing, fathers law, support. The family court is Monopolies mafia Look at the major rise of women devolving it’s out of control 90% they are thought and enforced and payed to devorce and protected

There is few ppl here who are truely helpful. There is nothing about the systems in place that makes this process or experience for victims easy . There is nobody really working to assist anyone here and no empathy or sympathy for anyone struggling to understand or navigate court systems and proceedures .. i feel for anyone who has to experience this particular courthouse alone . Its full of zombies who are incredibly unwilling to do anything above or beyond the mimimum.. the only thing that happens effectively at this particular court house is confussion and frustration . Im so dissappointed that there is nothing in place to guide anyone through these particular processes.

As a law clerk at law firm I will say that this is the worst court in the country, especially the Superior Family Court. The court clerks are disgustingly rude and they make things harder for the other lawyers and law clerks, and some of them are just lazy. Horrible service, my real rating is -100.

1. These guys need a system to verify the identity of the caller, because no one believes I am who I am, therefore preventing them from giving out any information. WHAT IS THE POINT OF HAVING THESE SERVICES THEN? Till date, I've been transferred 9 times. I've even gone in person, only to be told that I wasn't supposed to be directed here. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get updates and support as a victim. I've called these guys over a period of two weeks, just to change my address. They always say that another department is responsible for storing the information of the victim, but ultimately, I'm always redirected. They're slow, uncaring about how the victim can be affected, and this sytem is a COMPLETE joke!

This courthouse is very disorganized and nobody is willing to help. If you have to file papers or submit papers prepare to spend your entire day there. Everyone moves very slow and cases drag out for years. I'm currently fighting a case because my child's mother submitted false income information for me. The judge is nice and thorough, but legal aid is horrible. I went for help and old British lady told me if I don't give her what she wants I can leave her office. My legal aid didn't try to help me or give me options, almost as if she was representing my ex not me. If you go to Legal Aid prepare to hear conflicting information, one day I was right, the next day I was wrong The most competent person there is Karla, she doesn't judge anyone situation and she listens to the progress when you submit your papers. She always tries to give you a few minutes up advice which I deeply appreciate.

Absolutely disgusting how victims are treated. No contact information for anyone, no court updates, no extra support for what you’ve experienced. It’s been years since my court date and I’m still chasing departments to get the retribution that is owed to me. & victims services has a bad attitude and is less than helpful. If you’re a victim I hope you have support outside of the court system because they aren’t going to help you here.

Very long wait times for submitting paperwork. Minimum of 3 to 4 hours. Courts discourage you from representing yourself. It's part of the industry. In regards to family law, the Ontario courts should learn from countries such as Norway where both parents are given equal rights to parenting and automatically shared. The courts in Ontario generate so much business for all the players involved. Reform is needed as Canada is far behind in equality. Men want equal parenting and women want equal pay, that's the world we live in. The current system makes the entire process adversarial, rather than working on continuous conflict resolution. Lawyers would not get paid if the system was not adversarial. I tried two different lawyers from legal aid and your better off representing yourself or hire them only to do your paperwork. First lawyer always wanted a retainer, but was never available. Second lawyer was helpful and kind, but during trial was not experienced enough and even intimidated during trial by judge. The courts are simply outdated and that's just the way it is. I truly feel bad for all the men out there who try to be good dads and will never be given a chance. At best they will be a glorified babysitter every other weekend and only the kid suffers. It's all due to women wanting the child support. A woman is automatically favoured in court and they will never give a man more access because they will lose child support if father is given equal shared time or atleast 40% time. Most women are motivated by child support. Only the good women will give time and not worry about child support. Lets hope and pray that reform will happen sooner than later so the children in Canada can live normal lives with both parents.

The court system is made to profit of off of mistakes. Plenty of systemic discrimination on top . And setup for putting citizens and people down unfortunately not solving matters . What a shame CANADA . BECAREFULL OF FAMILY LAW . MOTHERS ARE FAVOURED . LAW AND RULES MUST BE REVOLVED , CHANGED . CANADA IS LACKING IN GOOD NEW JUDGES, LAWYERS ARE QUITUNG BECAUSE THE RULES ARE TO MAKE MONEY OUT OF VOLUNERABLE INDIVIDUALS.

Theres no justice for fathers. Theres no justice in the justice system, they just ruin lives. Family matters should only go to a court if theres a criminal element. The family court system is ruining canadian family values, and family for generations. To much power over someone else's family.
