A'Lure Aquarium Bar

Are you looking just for a drink? Come sit at this great bar and watch the fish. Hungry?? They have a small menu but a lot to pick from. I’ve come here often. Friendly staff, clean, indoor and outdoor seating.

My wife and I had a blast at Allure! The food was great, and Brian did an excellent job of serving up drinks, as well as making us feel like we were regulars on our first visit! For great service, food, and drink, this is a great spot!

The food was excellent! The service was too. And the fish tank was so cool! I had the shrimp tacos and almost couldn't eat all of them. But they were so good I had to!

Great place for a hearty meal and cocktails after a day at Starved Rock. The bartender clearly knew her stuff and gave really helpful recommendations. The whole place was clean, the bathrooms were well-maintained, and we enjoyed sitting at the bar and watching the fish. I could see this being a cute date night. I'd be happy to go back on my next trip to Starved Rock.

Food is good but not amazing. It's more hit or miss. I really enjoyed the Oysters & the pork chops. I don't recommend the spicy shrimp pasta I don't know if it was described wrong but it wasn't exactly what I expected. Spicy marinara is just a lot of acid for the belly to handle. Add red wine & it's just too much. Last time I was there I got a blackened fish special & that was really good. They upped their salad game & went from iceberg to now a mixed green blend. My friends have gotten the burgers & just loved them. Really good drinks & great service. Ambience is awesome with the fish tank bar & gorgeous patio. August 2021 update: Always like this place, patio is beautiful still. Changed up their menu. I got the salmon bruschetta which was absolutely delicious. The scallop pasta not so much. The scallops were way over cooked & the garlic seamed cheap like jarred or dried rehydrated which there was way too much of. It was very oily as well. I ate it. Wasn’t the worst pasta in the world but I wouldn’t order it again. As always decent wine just wish they would get a dry Rosé as an option. Oh, & service was excellent!

Miserable experience with the service. I usually post pictures and discuss the food but everything was colored by the rude waitress. I should have left and didn't, so I spent a lot of money in a place I felt unwelcome. I wouldn't suggest this experience- find another more welcoming place with better service.

I feel like this is a hidden gem!!!! Haf the Onion rings, and they are the best I've had!!!! Thick and breaded well! Had bruchetta with salmon, definitely worth it! Highly recommended for a hidden place to visit! You can tell this is ran by the owner because they prefer quality wayyy over the quantity! A true must visit! The success explains it all!!!

Food an service were phenomenal! For my 21st birthday my boyfriend took me here for a date because they have a beautiful aquarium bar! We were the only customers Thursday 8pm and it was so peaceful. Our bartender/waitress Jackie helped make it a great night an even had some good conversations with us! The cook is also phenomenal, I had ordered the OHS burger but after getting it wasn't a huge fan so I ordered a different dinner an it came out so so fast an tasted amazing the alfredo! Overall everyone was super nice. The environment was clean an pleasant to view and overall it was the best date I've had an im definitely planning on being a regular

The owner was our server and he is AWESOME! He can read his customers well and the food was amazing! So were the drinks! 10/10 and we will go there many more times!
