Trish started out as JQ's Flowers in 1980 on 1327 Railroad, then two moves on Holly, and finally (serendipitously) to our current location on 1327 Cornwall Avenue as A New Leaf Flower Shoppe. We've always loved downtown Bellingham and we've proud to be a part of it.
The gals she's got have been in the business for decades: Leslie, Sandra, and Marilyn.
We do arrangments for every occasion, drop-ins to planned events. There are always fresh flowers by the stem and bouquets done up for quick stops. You can pick them out yourself or have any of the shop's employees make one up for you on the spot!
Our shop has been featured in bridal magazines and websites and is highly esteemed in the local and regional community. We do free wedding consultations by appointment!
We work with local funeral homes to ensure that your loved ones' memorials are worthy of the lives being remembered. We do free delivery to services.

Had two other flower delivery shops cancel my order last minute and A New Leaf Flower Shoppe came through for me, willing to do a same delivery. I was so grateful and they had absolutely wonderful customer service! They made a beautiful bouquet from the colors I described and even sent me a picture of what it looked like. My grandma loved the bouquet and I recommend this shop for any of your floral needs!
I wanted to leave a good review for Lauren in particular who delivered my flowers to my home on behalf of my parents for Valentine’s Day. I’ve had an absolutely abysmal week and she called to make sure I’d know where my flowers were even though no one answered either door. It was a beautiful boquete and a much needed pick me up for just about the worst February I’ve ever had. Thank you for the voicemail and delivery diligence Lauren. And thank you to A New Leaf Flower Shoppe for the absolutely beautiful and wonderfully aromatic bouquet.
Maggie is the sweetest person and an asset to this shop! GREAT customer service! I called from Texas to order some flowers for Mother's Day. They're quite busy during this time, but Maggie took care of everything and was extremely friendly. The flowers were delivered on time as promised and my mom was extremely happy with them. And the price was super reasonable. I'll definitely be using this shop again!
We ordered our wedding flowers from A New Leaf and they turned out beautifully. I was able to talk with Jodie in person a couple times about what I had in mind for the floral arrangements. She took notes, made great suggestions, and made sure to confirm the order several times. They were quick to respond via email, and showed up on time on the day of the wedding to put everything in the correct place. We had a small wedding and didn't need a ton of flowers but Trish and the team at A New Leaf knocked it out of the park! We asked for seasonal flowers and I sent a few photos for inspo but they really just took it from there! I could not have been happier with how it turned out! I highly recommend them!
The one time in life when you really don’t want to order flowers, a funeral service. I worked with Trish for my beloved sister’s service & she understood the feel of “English Garden” I was envisioning & the color palette - Linda’s favorite with a dash of purple. When it comes to an important occasion like this it’s paramount that every detail is perfect, and I’m a perfectionist when it comes to respectful “memorialization.” We ordered a heart-shaped wreath, a few swags, two large pedestal urns, banquet table vase arrangements & two charming mini cedar trees. Everything was gorgeous; fresh & as agreed. Trish also supplied my designer boutique stunning flowers for years when I lived in Bellingham. I highly recommend her designs
I cannot TELL you how many compliments I receive on the bouquets of cut flowers I give as gifts to my friends from a New Leaf. I don't know how they do it, but the bouquets are beautiful and interesting. Go there.
A New Leaf, Flower Shoppe - Trish One year ago today, was the happiness day of my life and the beginning of “forever” with my best friend, David. Thank you for making our wedding day beyond what anyone could have ever imagined. We are blessed and truly grateful for all you had done for us to make our wedding day special! We had planned our wedding day on short notice due to our son departing unexpectedly within days for Marine boot camp. The afternoon before our wedding day, I stopped by “A New Leaf” during my lunch break from work and inquired about selecting a few flowers so that I could make my own arrangement for my wedding the next day. Trish was AMAZING! She said she would make my bouquet with the flowers of my choice to include…three boutonnières, two wrist corsages, and topping for my cake!!! All to be picked up by noon the next day!!! I cried the remainder of the day because of Trish’s kindness. You were the highlight of our special day; your generosity of kindness will never be forgotten. There’s just no words or hugs that could truly express the emotion and love felt. THANK YOU! Your staff has also been so wonderful to me/us! I’ve been back several times over the last year as well as my hubby! There’s no other flower shoppe like “A New Leaf” and I will only select flowers from you. Kellie Adich Happy New Year! I called and asked for a bouquet of bright cheery flowers for about $40. I knew my daughter was going to have a tough day and I wanted to send her something that would hopefully bring a smile to her face since I couldn’t be there to give her a hug. The gal asked about preferences and I said Gerber Daisies were great. I received a picture of the bouquet and it was just right. It didn’t break my wallet and my daughter got home and loved it. Mission accomplished.
