Family law, administrative law, and general litigation: www.akslaw.ca
I practice in the area of family law although I have previous experience at litigation boutique firms with a broad-based litigation practice including commercial matters. My family law practice includes all matters relating to division of property, trusts, common-law relationships, child and spousal support, divorce, child custody, guardianship and access, and drafting of agreements. I have represented individuals from various social, cultural, and financial backgrounds and have appeared in the British Columbia Supreme Court and Provincial Court.
I attempt to approach each matter with candor and compassion. After the first meeting, I outline a case strategy with each client exploring whether early resolution is possible or whether the nature of relations make an amicable and out of court resolution difficult. Throughout a case, I am committed to resolving legal disputes in a cost effective and timely manner, tailored to the needs of clients.
