I have been dealing with SI Alarms for a few months regarding my playback. A service technician was sent out to my house to fix the problem. Problem did not get fixed and on top of that an invoice was sent for services that didnt happen.After many phone conversations back and forth I Finally dealt with a gentleman named Jerry, he was really great to deal with and he really new what he was talking about, He literally talked me through and fixed my problem over the phone in less then 10 minutes, now I need him to get rid of the invoice.... My first contact with SI Alarms was in June when I booked them to perform an annual fire alarm inspection at a rental property. They booked me an appointment for July 2nd and I provided them with instructions to enter and access the property as they requested, since I wouldn’t be present. After returning to the property on July 2nd, it seemed like no one had stopped by. I called SI Alarms to confirm wether or not the inspection took place and I was told they would check with the staff and call back. I didn’t hear back the following day so I called again. I was told a second time that they would find out and this time they said they would call me back the next day. I never heard from them the following day. I contacted them a third time to find out if the inspection had been done and when they told me they’d find out, I asked them to just book me another appointment because I couldn’t wait any longer. The inspection took place on July 8th and I was informed that a couple heat sensors needed to be replaced. I gave them the okay and they went ahead and got it done. Months later on September 17th, I received an invoice for over double the amount I had originally been quoted. I still haven’t received the report itself. Also, I’ve been trying to get details on the heat sensors that were replaced. There are two heat sensors at the property that are so incredibly sensitive you can’t even use the oven to cook a frozen pizza. They sent me a useless link about the heat sensors that only vendors with a log in have access to. I’ve contacted them to clarify which heat sensors were replaced and suggested possible solutions to the heat sensor problem. More recently, I contacted them on October 1st and was told I would hear back by the 4th but I didn’t. After not hearing from them again, I followed up on the 6th and was told I’d hear back the same day or be contacted first thing in the morning of October 7th but that never happened either. It has been 5 months since dealing with SI Alarms and I still haven’t heard back, received the report or had the heat sensor situation addressed. Every day that this goes on it is costing me money since I can’t move-in tenants to the specific suites with the heat sensor problems. The alarm will go off multiple times a day, throughout the entire building whenever someone needs to prepare a meal to eat. Dealing with SI Alarms has been awful from the start and I’ve been more than patient enough. They are so unorganized and unprofessional. The entire experience has been a joke and I am so beyond frustrated and tired of dealing with them! Be careful before trusting them with your home or investment. Update as of Nov 24th: I received an invoice for the heat sensor replacement that I was told I wouldn’t be charged for. I responded to it and explained the situation and never got a response. On Nov 23rd I received the invoice a second time saying it was overdue. That same day, one of my tenants used the oven for the first time since the heat sensor replacement and it still set off the alarm… The problem still hasn’t been fixed and no one from SI Alarms has reached out to me in regards to my review and negative experience.
Yeah, right. I want my alarm certificate for insurance purposes. And now you telling me you guys need to test the system before doing that, and send me an invoice for 300$ without telling me ahead of the charge. I have been using this alarm for over 4 years now you telling me I have to test the system. Way to rip off people.
I sent a quote request leaving all my contact info and received an automated response that someone would contact me within 48 hours. 3 days later I hadn't heard back so I called and asked to speak to someone in sales. I was transferred to someone's voicemail, left a message indicating I had been trying to talk to someone and to please call me back regarding both home monitoring and surveillance. It has been over a week now and no response. I expected better customer service, but find myself deeply disappointed.. this is all coming during a time when there have been a spike of break-ins in my area.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The person I worked with really made sure I knew exactly what I was getting in my package and we were always on the same page. Communication was great and install happened with no issues. Would recommend!
Excellent Service. They installed a Video Security system in my home. Works amazing...worth every penny. Salesperson and workers very accommodating and respectful. I recommend them .
