A Small Green Space

After spending nearly a year of design and construction in our new home, I had zero energy and creativity left to tackle our outdoor space. Plus, I didn't have the first clue about plants - which ones "play" nicely together given our north facing space, and to add a layer of complication, which ones were pet safe for our three dogs who like to sample plants on a daily basis. We hired A Small Green Space for both the design and installation of our space. Emma was wonderful to work with from start to finish. She really took the time to take our needs, lifestyle, and design aesthetic into consideration when she created our outdoor garden no easy task given the awkward layout of the space, windy conditions, and my need for outdoor art. She really takes the "living" room concept seriously as her designs are both beautiful and comfortable. Emma and her team have now planted our garden for three years in a row. Every year, it's something different. And every year, it's breathtaking. Being able to kick back in her beautifully designed space - with all its layers of colors, textures and scents - is our family's sanctuary from the stresses of the day. Can't wait till Spring!
