A Stitch in Time Sewing School teaches children, teens, and adults how to sew. Our one hour evening classes makes sewing easy, fun, and stress free.
I started A Stitch In Time Sewing School as a franchisee of the Kids Can Sew Franchise in 2005. I was impressed with how the program made sewing so easy for people who have never sewn before. Especially for children!! Eight years later, kids are still having fun making bags, skirts, dresses, and crafts. We have fun. Our curriculum is workbook based with projects for students to sew such as: draw string bag, straight skirt with elastic waist, shirts, pants, shorts. Just to name a few of the projects our students make. I am the teacher/owner/operator. My name is Janine Smith.
