Don’t use this company. Take your money to Boise. As a small town business owner you would think he would care about how he treats his customers but after repeatedly hanging up on me because I had a complaint I beg to differ. I called with a valid complaint and he just flat out refused to listen. My rented equipment was faulty I used it for half an hour then brought it back. He refused to listen then as well and charged me full price then j have to drive to Boise to rent actual working equipment. Sad to say the reason people don’t stay with local businesses is this man’s fault.

Absolutely terrible experience, rented a trencher and it didn’t work for the job I was doing so I brought it back 20 min later, not only they charge me for a 4 hr rental, but they charged me for fuel , and a damage waiver I never agreed to have! Man at the fest was extremely rude in addition to the poor experience and non working equipment…. 10/10 would recommend NEVER using A to Z lumber

Rented equipment from here and it didn’t work properly. When I tried to bring this to the attention of the owner he was rude and dismissed my concerns. Maybe it was because I am a woman and he really felt my concerns were a waste of his time or maybe he treats all his customers this way. Don’t waste your time here. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else.

Usually love A-Z but this time however, was a bad experience. The first time we went in the owner told us we could pick it up Friday before closing and keep it until they closed Saturday. Well I guess he didn’t relay that message to the the lady that answered the phone when we called Friday making sure it was serviced before we picked it up because she didnt know anything about it or about the times that we needed a piece of equipment, said it wasn’t miscommunication but she wasn’t comprehending really anything about it.i don’t know what’s so hard to understand about what we were told then told us that they weren’t gonna have it before they closed Friday and that they also wouldn’t have it serviced before 9amwhen we were supposed to pick it up. We pick it up 945 Saturday morning and we find that it has an oil leak and it’s not working properly, we bring it back earlier than they wanted and tell them the stuff that we found is wrong with it and this lady gets an attitude and says “well the person before you said it worked just fine” and we told her yeah maybe for some light stuff like sand but we asked if it would work with rock and it didn’t so lie #2. Overall, never buying anything from them again especially equipment that doesn’t get serviced correctly. Please work on servicing your equipment correctly and in a timely manner as well as communication within your workplace.

Great store, I go here for my lawn and garden needs, small engine repair and most specially tolls. The folks are friendly and helpful and I love that I can rent big tolls and machinery from them. Great prices.

This place is horrible. I bought a generator and he said it would power my motor home. It shorted out. On top of that the handle fell off and wheel fell off in one day. The mechanic broke the oil nozzle when he put oil in and just jammed another one in to fix it. This was supposedly a new generator and now he refuses to refund me even though I had it for one day. They said I had to bring it back to be repaired because the company that makes those doesn't take them back. I've never heard of anything like this. I did it though and over a month later it's still not fixed and when I complained I was told I could just come pick it up if I wanted broke. I will never shop here again and I have never had such a horrific experience. Shopping here was a $700.00 mistake

If I could give this place a 0 star I would. Where to begin, seems like about almost 2 months ago we were supposed to get a pressure washer we took to get a simple fix and the lady at the Front which is useless cuz every time we called in she would give no info but the fact that " it'll be ready in 6 weeks" like seriously!!!!???? Finally it was 6 weeks and NOTHING was done. DON'T recommend coming here & DON'T waste your time at this place... we had to go pick up the pressure washer because they still haven't even started on it and it was probably going to take god knows how long, we rather fix it ourselves cuz this place was & is useless....What a disappointment.... nothing here in Mt Home is worth going to....

I called to ask about a SOD cutter and was told there was a half day rate 4hrs or full day rate from open to close. When I picked up the SOD cutter I once again confirmed if I had it back within 4 hrs it would be a discounted rate. When I returned the equipment they charged me for a Full day. I mentioned that when I called and when I picked up I was told it would be discounted if returned within 4 hrs. The older man keep insisting that there are no half days for the SOD cutter. Next thing I know he is hollering in the back for the guy that I picked it up from, he comes out and tells me oh I’m sorry if I told you that I am new and don’t know everything..... I said that’s fine and all but shouldn’t be my problem... needless to say I still had to pay a full day rate and will not be returning. Terrible customer service for a small town. Not sure how they are still in business.

Very dishonest when it comes to fixing your equipment. They will make things up that they claim is wrong with it. Very slow turn around it can take 3 weeks to get your equipment back. Unprofessional and rude. I am not sure how they are still in business. I would recommend going to Jim's Lumber or Carr's Lumber. I will not return to this place. I will go to Boise before I shop there again.

Bought a pellet stove October 2017 within days they were already replacing parts. Have my receipt and video of them at my place November 2018 not turning on again on a product that cost almost $2,000. Just like that not one care, made a call complained about it and not once did they send someone to look at it as a matter of fact they got offended. Takes hard work to make $2,000 nothing is handed over to us but they could care less! I will not buy one single thing from this place ever again!!!!!!
