Les and Jacob are very kind, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. They sell a wide variety of train stuff, from model trains to DVD’s to hats and everything in-between perfect place to shop for train-related gifts. It’s not a super big hobby shop, but it’s fun going and supporting a local hobby shop which aren’t easy to find nowadays.

Great little place. Been hunting for store with evergreen plastics. It's here and the display is full. Don't worry about driving to Indy or hobby lobby. I use evergreen in my scratch building of tractors and trucks. Couldn't be any happier with the supply they have.
I was looking for a shirt just a few days before Christmas for a present. I received EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE from this store!! I spoke with a gentleman assuming owner and he was EXTREMELY WILLING TO HELP!! I placed my order online and received it in 2 days!!! I was VERY happy to receive it and it was perfect! THANK YOU A-TRAINS for helping me get what I needed to gift my "hard to buy for family member!" Happy customer here! :

Really friendly and knowledgeable guy working the counter. Talked to me quite extensively about his choice of scale, and was really good at providing answers to my questions. I only bought a pin from them, but the store is overall nice. Almost all their stock is new with only a few older, unassembled kits to choose from for older stuff. Will definitely visit again. Just of note, A-Trains carries primarily new and doesn't do consignment, while Train Central does consignment and have an excellent variety of old stock. Both are good for different reasons.
I was looking for something specific. This establishment did not have it but the sales person/owner? was very helpful with suggestions about how and where I might find the items I was looking for
The man working the shop was very knowledgeable. The train layout was neat.
Nice store but I had no idea how expensive some of these trains can cost!
