Meet the owner and founder of A Whole New You. She is a Licensed Massage Therapist in Montana, New England, and the US Virgin Islands. She is Nationally Board Certified and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. She has graduated from Bancroft School of Massage in Worcester, Massachusetts. Over the past decade, she has furthered her education studying all over the states with a variety of modalities including Medical Massage, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Energy Healing with crystals, Myofascial release, Aromatherapy, as well as an extended study of Thai Yoga Massage traveling through South East Asia. She has years of experience practicing her passion in a number of different settings, from chiropractic offices, athletic training rooms, yachts, day spas, holistic wellness centers, and operating her own Healing Studio. Emily now has incorporated all of her many tools to customize each treatment to one’s specific needs. A combination of therapist’s hands, heated stones & warm coconut oil soothes your entire body, and melts any built up tension. The stones are also placed on acupressure points to aid in balancing energy. Deeply grounding & excellent for stress.
Thai Yoga Massage
This experience is an ancient healing art with origins in Ayurvedic Medicine, Yoga and Buddhism. It has evolved into a unique and magical combination of deep stretching, rhythmic compression, soft-tissue manipulation, gentle rocking, energy balancing, and acupressure. A traditional session differs from a Swedish massage in that it is conducted on a thick cushion on the floor, and the client remains fully clothed in loose pants and a comfortable shirt. Consisting of dynamic and fluid combinations of techniques that move, stretch and twist the client while they are positioned on their back, front, side, and sitting cross-legged on the floor, applied in a meditative way, which enables the client to voyage into deeper realms of consciousness.
Aromatherapy
The art of aromatherapy with the techniques of Vita Flex and massage in the application of essential oils to various areas of the body. This collection provides revolutionary means of bringing balance and harmony to the body- physically, mentally, and emotionally. Essential oils are actually dropped from about 6 inches above your back and neck, it is very relaxing and comforting feeling of rain drops along your spine. Finished with a soothing application of warm coconut oil to complete a full body massage.
Chakra Balancing
