The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program is administered by three USDOT operating administrations. Namely, the Federal Highway Administration, the Federal Aviation Administration and the Federal Transit Administration. Alabama's DBE program is implemented by the Alabama Department of Transportation.
The DBE Supportive Services providers are Alabama A&M University, Alabama State University, Stillman College, Tuskegee University and the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
To ensure DBE firms have the maximum opportunity to participate in ALDOT and federal, state and city contracts.
