I got my washing machine and dryer combo from aarons brand new. So my washing machine broke on the last week of May and aarons sent out a tech guy from GE to try to fix it and he couldn't and it was taking forever so aarons finally gave me a loaner and took my washing machine to their warehouse in Pennsylvania to fix it the first week in July and not once called to give me a update I called faithfully checking on it. They had no problem calling me the few times i had to pay a week late. Anyways they finally said they had my washer ready. When I got it I called them because it was extremely dirty and filthy it looked like it was sitting outside since july. Then it had a flower sticker on the side of it which clearly i did not put there. I was like this is not my washer and they then said ok read off the serial number from the back and we did which we noticed that the serial number had clearly been ripped off our actual washer and put on this one. If I could give them 0 stars I would! After all the time we waited for them to give us somebody elses washer thats been sitting outside is just ignorant! If u couldn't fix our washee then just say that! And give us a new one or one equivalent dont just give me this trash!
If I could give negative numbers, they would be getting them. I am leasing a refrigerator and it quit working Sunday night. Called and was told they would submit a ticket for a technician and it could take up to 24 hours to hear from the technician. I am not happy about that because I lost everything in the refrigerator. Fast forward 24 hours, still no call from the technician call the store and Barron says there is nothing they can do but resubmit the ticket and no one else is there in the store to possibly bring a small freezer to at least put the $250 plus meat in it. If I haven't heard from a technician by Wednesday they will then bring a loaner. Then he states Joseph said we have the refrigerator plugged into an extension cord. Uh no that isn't true and Joseph needs to quit lying trying to get Aaron's out of taking care of this. Called the corporate office and was told the would escalate my complaint to the regional manager and could expect a call from him. That was over 3 hours ago and I have yet to hear from anyone. This is about the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Yet I will still have to make that $85 payment after losing all my food in the refrigerator and freezer due to their contracts with 3rd party vendors.
They delivered my purchase after dark with snow and ice and hit my daughter's car and left the scene without coming back and knocking on our door to let us know. Called the store and manager and driver's denied it happened. Filing a police report for damage to property and leaving the scene of an accident. Will never use this store again.
We leased a lawn mower from them and were set up on auto draft payments. At one point during our contract we had turned the auto draft off when we added a new lease agreement for a sofa and loveseat. We ended up returning the sofa and love seat because the quality for the price wasn't worth it and we found a much better set at a local furniture store at a far better cost. After that we had the auto pay turned back on, we did this IN STORE in person so we KNOW we had it turned back on. We have paid on our agreement and come to our final month and surprise surprise no auto draft payment. Today they send someone TO MY HOUSE with an aarons truck as if they are going to take back something Ive paid on for a year and ONLY 1 payment was left. Considering they were told to put it on autodraft and failed to do so apparently doesnt matter. To send someone to my home and make it appear that we are in jeopardy of having something repossesed is absolutely unacceptable. P.S. the woman that works there lacks customer service completely. If youre daring enough to use them, the ONLY person who seems to know anything is Joe, so ask for him!!!
I have been dealing with Aaron's for years and I have not had a problem. The personal is very very nice and they will work with you. They are friendly. I just love the store. If anyone has a problem that is because you don't pay when you suppose and all you have to do is call them. I have not had a problem with them. They welcome you with open arms.
Let me start by saying "DON'T BUY" their furniture it is very poor quality and if something goes wrong with it they never call you back. I called for 3 months and finally asked them to come pick it up, and then my son not the drivers told me that the hit my fence and not only that broke my husbands grandmothers antique clay pitcher. so I had to call and send photos the GM called me today and says they could do $25.00 I am like that's the best you can do and he was yes that is all we can do. I'm like wow really. So if you want stuff that is cheep and not good quality and stuff ran over and broke in your yard this is the best place to shop.
I placed an order online for a window ac unit on July 5th, 2019 with a expected delivery date of July 16th. Head office did not call me to verify my information or anything until July 9th. It is now the 12th, and I had not received a call, email, or anything from the store, so I called them. The person at the location told me it wouldn't be in their store until AT LEAST July 19th. And God only knows how long they'd take to deliver it! SMH! I have cancelled my order, and will be taking my business elsewhere. This is incredibly poor communication and service to a customer.
I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone! Totally and completely disrespectful and rude. The one on Gateway recently closed and our contracts that we have had with them for years were sent to this store. Ever since then it's been complete hell to the point I told them to come and pick up a tv and entertainment center and then paid off our washer and dryer in full to be rid of them. I would rather buy another tv outright and a tv stand instead of over paying for outdated used junk. It took them 3 failed attempts to come and get the merchandise because they just sent out someone from another store and it's solid wood that he couldn't carry out himself. It all started when the contacts were transferred to this store... previously I had made a few arrangements with late payments throughout the years and they were more then willing to wait an extra week for a payment and a half. But as soon as this store took over I started receiving calls the day the bill was due all hours of the day and night every single day finally after one week late I called and told them instead of making a payment that they would need to send someone out to get this merchandise because I no longer wanted it due to their behavior and disrespectful employees. They begged me to make a payment instead to which I declined many times.. finally they said in order to pick it up we need you to make a half payment... ummm if I am returning the equipment to you I am not going to pay you anything, to which he replied if you ever rent from us again that balance will be due... totally unethical as it states any payments towards merchandise that you return you can pick back up where you left off anytime in the future for similar merchandise and you don't lose out on what you have already paid! Complete lie and bogus customer service! Do not rent from them!
My 70 year old Mom rented a mower from this place, guy name Randy.. she paid the payments . And we called an talk to Randy back in may.2017 of this year. Explaining the reason my mom did not have the mower any longer. AND ask them to stop taking the payments out of my mom's SSI checks each month. My Dad past away March 1 2017. My mom used Arrons rental to have a mower to mow her grass. As of may she lost her home . Due fact her checks was not enough cover rent. An mower was taking also, But they continued to keep taking payments an still are taking payments out of her SSI check. Last payment taking was Nov 2 .. I have called an ask them again please leave her checks alone. Called the corporate office 3 days in a row . With still no phone calls back. I want Arrons rental. You pay my mother the money they owe her back on her card. Randy. Did call back . Saying they stopped the payments. Of course after yet another payment taking out again . How does a company do this to a 70 yrs old woman who has lost so much.. yes she rented the mower. But was not her fault the mower was stolen. An on which I'm sure Arrons rental has some type of coverage for . I won't rest until she gets a refund from Nov 2 to may 2017 ..
I have been Aarons customer for over 20 years at the 4 mile Fork location Fredericksburg Virginia ! I was one of the first customers that shopped there ! I called today to order a wash machine and was told I needed to go online and fill out a credit application ! So for over 20 years they have taken my payments on various items and when I say various items I have made a payment to Arons every monthfor over 20 years for something ! Sadly I have to say I will no longer deal with Arons
