The woman in the store was helpful and pleasant. The two men whom dropped off the couches today were polite and friendly.
They over charge, NEVER answer their phones, take out 300 dollars one month and 250 dollars another on a 158. dollar monthly lease agreement. DO NOT GO THROUGH THEM. Best Buy has better prices, better service, and much better products. My HP computer died just 6months shy of having it.
I've been doing business with AARON's for over 10 years, possibly longer; and I've used this location for six of those 10 years. The new management leaves a lot to be desired in customer service. Awhile back I asked to return items because it wasn't what I really wanted and I was struggling financially. I was told you have to make a payment and than we can schedule a pick up. We can't take a return when your account is not current. I made the payment and no pick was scheduled as I was told. Needless to say I decided to let it go and try to finish paying my purchase off. Now that I am down to 3 payments or less I was told if you don't make your payment we will have to schedule a return. Why couldn't that be done months ago when I asked? It seems if they can threaten to do a return now that I almost own the items they could have done this when I requested in the beginning. I've had nothing but bad experiences with this AARON's in the past year. Worst customer service ever. I wouldn't recommend this location unless you have absolutely no other options.
If I could give 0 stars- I would. As a military family who is moving soon, we went looking for a washer/dryer as ours just went out yesterday and we’re a family of 7. We were refused service because we mentioned that we weren’t looking to keep the product for the entirety of the contract for full purchase. We opted for a pre-leased set, and disclosed the intention that we didn’t think we would fulfill the entire contract let’s face it- it’s a big pricey, but we wanted to pay for insurance for the product and go ahead with a pre owned set. We were escorted out of the store and told that “short term rentals aren’t allowed.” We pulled up the contract that states we can cancel at any time without penalty and they stated that they won’t allow it, and if we place an online order, it will be instantly denied and closed out. We asked for more clarification stating that this isn’t what is in writing, and the employees threatened to call law enforcement and said that they refused to do business with us if we weren’t purchasing for the full amount. This isn’t how you do business with people. This isn’t how you treat people.
This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with any store. Horrible management. I have never been spoken to so rudely by the manager Brandon. I asked for a return call from the general manager Shannon but no calls ever returned. I ordered the furniture on September 17 and the first payment was due on October 1 and still no furniture. I called Shannon after i placed my online order and explained i was buying this furniture for my son who was in the army and she was very kind and said she would do whatever it took to help out since my son was in the military. Yet after all of this i never received one return call. Very disappointing. After Aaron’s rescheduled the delivery last Saturday due to a driver being out i was told they would make special arrangements and have the furniture delivered that following Monday between 5 and 6 and that the driver would wait since my son is in the army and would be there shortly after 5:00 pm. When I called to confirm I spoke with Brandon who was extremely rude and told me that his general manager Shannon said the delivery would be between 4 and 6. I tried to explain what I was told on Saturday by another manager and he said that was not his problem and that it would be delivered between 4 and 6. I called at 6:15 to tell them no one had shown up and Brandon answered and rudely told me that the driver got there at 4:00 and no one was home. He then became nasty with me and told me he was canceling my order. I told him I had made my first payment that was already due and he told me that’s not his problem and good luck getting my money back. I asked him to have his general manager call me and still no return call. That was Monday and I have yet to receive any phone call back from anyone. Corporate was notified and hopefully they will fix the poor management that has obviously been going on for some time given the bad reviews here and on yelp. I have had five separate leases with Aaron’s which were all favorable. I would never lease anything from Aaron’s after such a bad experience in customer service and overall horrible professionalism. It has been a very disappointing experience.
Any problems and they Scramble to take care of it. If they can fix the problem they make the costumer out to have the better deal. Honestly no complaints. Price is just right as well as they have financing. They have amazing always happy to see you employee's, everyone is always super polite, all in all a 10 rent to own shopping experience. My 43" tv was broke due to manufacturer or shipping, they replaced it with a 50", same brand and os for the same buy-out!
Awful experience! Thank goodness we were able to end our agreement. I would never ever work with this company again. We wasted our time and money dealing with Shannon. She is inappropriate and rude and seems to be the conversation in every review. They don’t do anything! I was promised a refund and it has been almost a month and I’ve not revived anything! I call the store regularly and all she says is she will “look into it” and give me a call. NEVER calls back or even checks on refund. The status has been the same for a month. Something is seriously wrong here. Get it together your managers aren’t doing their job. You are making customers suffer.
My experience this far has been fabulous. I ordered a new sectional on-line and had it delivered today. Delivery was originally scheduled for last Thursday, due to family emergency I needed to reschedule. The woman I spoke to was gracious enough to reschedule my delivery to today, even though they do not normally do deliveries on Monday. I was elated! The delivery team were courteous and took great care not to damage the sofa. I love my new sectional! Very comfortable and seems to be very well constructed. Thank you Aaron's!
After having issues at a competitor, went to Aaron's. Have bought a few things from Aaron's and had issues with each purchase. Ebony was amazing and provided great customer service and took care of things. Most recently, my folks purchased a laptop for my daughter for college. First off, they sent it out the door password protected and when we called, Paul said we had to come back the following day to see their tech. Which we found out later that they don't have a tech. I immediately took it back and Ebony took care of the password issue. Only to find out when we got back home that it was a dead laptop that wouldn't even charge! Ebony once again tried to provide good customer service and ordered a new laptop as a replacement. We talked to Paul again....poor example of a manager once again. After much thought.....we called and canceled the order on Saturday and said we would be in for a refund. We were told that we would have to come in on Monday for refund because Paul was the only able to process refunds. We went in on Monday to be told by Paul that we would have to call back at 5pm to see if they had cash to refund. Oh, might I add that the gal we talked to on Saturday never told Ebony or anyone else for that matter that we canceled because Ebony called us on Monday to let us know the new laptop was in. Needless to say....they lost us as customers and if I could I would pay off my folks' balance so that they wouldn't have to continue giving them there business! Oh and on a side note...we happened to be there when Paul was having a staff meeting on the sales floor...my daughter and I were both caught off guard in how he was using foul language and degrading customers while we were present.
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Shannon the manager is mentioned multiple times giving her a bad review. I do not understand why you continue to let her treat customers the way she does. I am absolutely appalled at this stores customer service. Ebony the previous manager was always so kind and helpful and ever since Shannon got put on i have had nothing but issues. Every time i tell you guys I need a due date change and nothing happens. Every-time i call i either get put on hold for 20+ minutes or get hung up on! While trying to work over the phone with Shannon I had to walk away to speak with my husband. we come back to my phone and THE MANAGER SHANNON was speaking to another associate about how annoying I am and she is sick of me and i am playing games. I got back on the phone and told her i heard everything and then she HUNG UP. Totally unacceptable. Something needs to be done at this location because Aarons so far is the WORST decision we have ever made.
