With over 40 Training Facilities, NATIONWIDE, ABC Bartending Schools has been training quality bartenders since 1977.
Bartending is a career that is constantly evolving. You will always be picking up new styles, techniques, and recipes. To say you will learn EVERYTHING would be impossible. Our approach to training is simple: As bartenders ourselves, we train you to know what we would expect you to know after completing bartending school. We want you to have the confidence to start working in a bar right away!
All of our instructors are bartenders with over 22 years of experience EACH, take pride in preparing you for what will be expected of you in order to excel in the industry.
We regularly talk to bartenders, bar owners, bar managers, along with former students and pose a simple question; "What skills would you expect somebody to have after completing bartending school?" The input and opinions of the bars and restaurants is how our program is structured. We do this to ensure that our methods are always up to date and we always have the upper hand on upcoming trends.
With 2 locations in the Chicagoland area (Lakeview and Frankfort) our 32 hour program is a great class from the casual bartender all the way to the professional level. With day and evening classes available (Mon-Thurs: 1 week 9-5; 2 week 9-1, 1-5 or 6-10) we can be sure to work around your schedule.
After graduation you will receive all the certificates you will need (including B.A.S.S.E.T.), Lifetime NATIONWIDE job placement assistance, and free lifetime refresher classes to be sure that you are ALWAYS in tune with the newest recipes and methods.
ABC offers BASSET certification required by the Illinois Liquor Control Commission to EVERYONE even if you didn't attend our bartending classes!
ABC also does consulting seminars for new bars or helps re-brand your current establishments. We have personalized training that can be customized to the specific needs of your establishment. On-Site and classroom training is available.
Bartenders are also available for establishments and private parties as well.
