Richard Derechailo, Chief of Police
The men and women of the Aberdeen Township Police Department are committed to providing a safe community for all residents. The police department is comprised of two divisions: Operations and Administration. The Operations Division, commanded by a captain, consists of patrol, the traffic safety bureau, and the DARE/School Resource Officer program. The Administrative Division, also commanded by a captain, consists of communications, records, and the detective bureau.

The Mission of the Aberdeen Township Police Department is to preserve peace and order, and to reduce crime, as well as the fear of crime, through proactive community-oriented policing, in order to ensure the safety of those we serve.
