They were quick to get me in for a consultation and pay their fee. I was promised by Lisa my file would be worked on and no more than 3-4 weeks to get taxes filed and some updates to my chart of accounts. During the next 4 weeks there has been very poor communication - over a week between their responses. They have only responded to my calls or texts twice and unfulfilled promises and expectations. If I wasn't already vested into this process I would go elsewhere.

If I could, I would give them 6 stars. I had been getting my taxes done with Lisa, the owner of the firm, for the last 18 years. With her team’s support, she provides top notch professional tax services and makes the tax filing experience almost fun! I used to dread the yearly tax filing deadline but Lisa has significantly decreased my stress level. She is knowledgeable, ethical, and is able to solve just about any tax-related issue without putting her clients at risk. Highly recommend this firm.

Probablly 10 years ago, I had struggled with a series of incompetent accounting firms for my business. After interviewing no less than a dozen firms I sat down with Lisa Heckman and was amazed! We hired above all and we have been absolutely thrilled with the quality, timely work. There expertise is incredible. Particularly Tracy Roe is a champ. I found Lisa Heckman and Above All Accounting through Dave Ramsey's list of Endorsed Local Providers. I'm so glad I did because she was very pleasant to work with. Lisa is extremely knowledgeable and patient, very patient considering I asked her countless questions, and she answered them all. She continues answering my questions through email. One day she even went out of her way answering one of my questions after hours only so I could meet a deadline. I highly recommend her and her team!

Found Above All Accounting a few years ago. Our long time Tax preparer was no longer available and we had some challenging taxes to do after a rough financial year. They handled our issues, greatly reduced our tax liability and have been our go to since. Our annual taxes are complicated, lives busy and time is always tight. Tend to send in our info late in the tax season, most of the time late March or early April. 2-3 weeks is obviously not much time for prep and review, Above All team handles it, extensions if needed and then take the time to properly review. Yep, 5 stars for us and now many friends and family go to them as well. Thanks for the great work! See you all in March, yah I know I’ll try and get it all together sooner..lol

I have used Above All for years! They have helped us through endless situations with multiple businesses and non-profits we have run. I ALWAYS refer them to my business friends. They are dialed and will take very good care of you! Couldn't recommend more strongly.

My review is mixed. In the beginning, we started with Edward. He seemed to know how to do our taxes. We started bringing in all that was needed, there was a lot of paperwork. Eventually after a few days, he assured us it would be done in 2 weeks, way before the deadline. That’s when everything started to go downhill. We never received a phone call, email, anything on the status of our taxes. I started calling them every other day, to get the same response of “it’s in the review process”. April 14, my wife gets a voicemail around 3:30pm saying they were unable to complete taxes and we were to fill extension. Mind you, they closed at 4, and Sunday they were closed regardless. This put us in panic mode, we’ve never done a extension. April 16, we drove to business to straighten out this mess. The staff didn’t really know what was going on and we were directed to owner. The owner, Jennifer knew her stuff. We were so relieved. We had so much built up tension. She helped us file and put our minds at ease. It’s a mixed review. If only to communicate with us anyway: phone call, text, email, smoke signals, ....... all this could have been avoided. If we didn’t see Jennifer, 1-2 stars and not coming back. Communicating and/or completing or not completing taxes: 3 stars. If we just saw Jennifer, 5 stars. I had to give 3 stars simply because of how twisted story was

*** UPDATE *** So Lisa contacted me with the concerns they had from their side. And the gaps in communication we had. Glad we were able to clarify each other. There are times when circumstances play an important role and frustration mentioned below was caused due to it. But Lisa showed commitment to address issues and to work with me to address all concerns. *** Original Comment *** These guys are just hungry for money. I have been doing taxes with them from 2013 to 2017. For 2017 I had given all the documents well in advance. Even then my taxes were returned on the last day. I stayed up all night going through them and found a lot of errors. Even then I payed them all the money they asked for no bargaining ever. After that I got 2 letters from IRS. I contacted these guys to get help as they had done the taxes. They said they are reviewing one notice and they will be a fee to file the reply with IRS. I said I will file the reply just tell me the computation of 2017 tax addition Just a number They waited till the last moment and then I get a mail saying they have filled a reply and I owe them $290. When replied back I did not hear anything back and then I get hit with a $243 Net 15 invoice and If I do not pay in 10 days 18% interest. I am really upset with these guys.

We have been with Above all Accounting for over ten years now and wish i could give even more than 5 stars. You will never be worried about taxes again once you start using their services. I highly recommend their services for both your personal and business taxes.
