Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant

Food was delicious!! The drinks were tasty. I couldn't even finish my food.... The plate was ridiculously large. Nice atmosphere and reasonable price for our order. The service was also good. Our waiter was super nice. We just left the Adobe Gila in Easton where we were mortified... Please read my review about it!!

I like that this restaurant is located by the main mall because you can shop and come by here. I didn't enjoy my first experience, but I would give it another try. I ordered a nachos, thinking it would be a pile of chips, covered in toppings. However, I got a plate with a few big chips and toppings. The meals were pretty expensive here, especially for the portions! The flavors were lacking in spice and boldness, and the food didn't wow me. I think there could be more authenticity, it seems too modern to me. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, but it was completely empty when we came in. Our waiter was nice, but seemed very occupied.

One of the best places I’ve ever been. I was a little bit skeptical about this place but after today... I’m impressed. Food is delicious!

Rating at 3 stars. The restaurant has no way of handling an allergy notice. They simply say sorry it's all in the food and cannot be taken out. Maybe because it's all pre made and microwaved?. Also, rice did not smell or taste like Mexican rice. Trust me I know. Fajitas were undercooked. The only things that were good were the desserts and margaritas. The staff seems to be friendly.

Stopped by after a movie for appetizers and drinks at the bar. Everyone was friendly, and our food and drinks were good.

My husband and i went out with a couple of our friend's, being it was our 1st time here we didn't know what to expect. But we were very surprised, the restaurant was beautiful! Our waitress was very nice, knowledgeable and kept up on our drinks. The food was amazing and the portions were just right! I'd recommend this restaurant and we'll definitely be back again.

Good Mexican food with a diverse menu in a open and vibrant setting. The food was your standard fare and not what one might call "authentic" Mexican, but still tasted good with ample portions and reasonable prices. Margaritas were a bit sweet but still good. Service was attentive and friendly. Overall a good place to grab lunch, but I would characterize this as the PF Chang's of Mexican food.

Consistently excellent food and service. We love the dip sampler and several of the margaritas. Dawson who recently received a well-deserved promotion is a wonderful server-turned-manager. He is always so friendly and makes our dining experience very enjoyable.

Such a disappointment. One of our favorite restaurants and the service was horrible. Even though it is Father’s Day they were not busy. Got seated at 1:36 pm and at 1:45 our food had still not come out. We ordered the mushroom appetizer and it came out ice cold when it finally came out. The bacon wrap shrimp appetizer came out 15 minutes later. It was good but only 3 pieces. We never did get our meal. Finally called the Manager over to advise on our displeasure and advised we were going elsewhere.
