Edited to add description I HIGHLY recommend Acacia Animal Hospital for their compassionate care and attentive service from every single vet/tech/receptionist my dogs Cubone and Eowyn have seen. It's rare to find vets with consistently great service that truly care about your pets, and they hit all the marks. They sincerely listen to all of my concerns and answer all of my questions without judgement. I am a skeptic, but I trust Acacia 100% with my dogs' health. Because of them my dogs LIKE going to the vet : Exams are done thoroughly, and they provide lots of positive reinforcement to make it a good experience for the animal. Last year I was temporarily caring for a 110+lb very reactive bite risk mastiff mix, and they went out of their way to make sure we were both safe and comfortable. They had him begging for pets by the time they were through! Even for administrative tasks, they're very helpful - I had issues with licensing my rescue due to not having proof of spay, and they somehow found her PACC records from when she was a puppy despite issues getting info from the original owner + no microchip to go off of. There have been times I've called/emailed to see if a situation was urgent or could wait until their next opening, and they are quick to respond. They even called me a couple days later to check how my pet was doing! When they're busy, service is still friendly and not rushed. I could honestly type up a whole book about this place. It's a huge weight off my shoulders to have such reliable people in charge of my pets' health!
Molly has been coming to Acacia for several years now. I’ve never asked for any vet in particular because they are all excellent, I like them all, and Molly is happy with each of them. And don’t forget the vet techs and the office staff. Acacia is a clinic. Thanks everyone!
Are 6 stats available? Acacia and everyone on staff is absolutely at the top of their game. High standards of care AND they take the time to listen to you and to talk about your pets as individuals.
Always caring and helpful. My go-to vet for years. My dog is reactive and other vets have struggled with him or treated him with contempt; Acacia is nothing but kind and attentive.
Dr. Coverdill and the rest of the staff at Acacia Animal hospital are amazing! Dr. Coverdill is very personable. She will listen to all of your concerns then walk you through her thought process as to what she thinks is going on with your animal. And she explains things in a way you would understand. She seems to know how to approach dogs and handle them in a Fear-Free way. Vet-tech Jo is such a joy to be around, she is knowledgeable and expresses your concerns to the vet perfectly. I began seeing Dr. Coverdill when my guinea pig became lethargic with soft stools. After a fecal Dr. Coverdill found out that she had a parasite that was treated, and that she was developing an intolerance to vegetables as she got older. My guinea pig is a singlet and does not gain the benefits that guinea pig pairs have. Like the sharing of healthy bacteria through poop! Jo the wonderful vet tech went out of her way to collect her guinea pig Banjos 'droppings' for my Cleo, to help her gut get better! Cleo and I are grateful to Jo, Banjo, and Dr. Coverdill for figuring out what was wrong and doing everything possible to make her healthy again. We now bring my senior dog to Dr. Coverdill because she is amazing. Acacia is easy to contact by phone, front desk is very polite. If you have questions after hours you can email them and they respond the next day. They do follow-up calls after appointments and will ask your Veterinarian a question for you and get back to you within an hour or two. They also do their best to fit in emergencies. The front desk called after my dogs rabies vaccine to make sure she was feeling okay! Amazing! I cannot recommend them enough. I recommend this vet to any and ALL pet owners. I always get the same vet tech and she is seriously so phenomenal. She is the sweetest gal ever and always and makes sure they are comfortable before jumping in to the visit. She really does care, she remembers my other kitties from previous visits. Even got my handsome boy to pur today even though he gets super skiddish while at the vet. I never feel like they are trying to upsell me or get me to purchase anything that is unnecessary. Wait time is literally close to nothing, if at all.
I love Acaia Animal Hospital for my two cats. Dr. Macindowney is awesome with my babies. The entire staff is awesome. I have no problems getting an appointment. They always call and check in a coupla days after our appointment. If you want good quality care at a great price, check out Acacia Animal Hospital, you won't be disappointed.
My dog Legacy hates the vet and was in a lot of discomfort from an ear infection when I brought him in.The front desk staff was very accommodating. Brooke was sweet with my baby and made him as comfortable as possible. Dr Laudonio, was very compassionate and took his time explaining treatment options and why certain ones would be better options. Im grateful to have tried this place out, Legacy and me will defiantly be back!
Dr Laudonio has staff preformed several surgeries our dog Jack. We could not of found a better Dr for him. He truly cares for his patients. We can't thank him enough for giving Jack his ability to run, jump and play again.
