What really knocks me out about this school is when you walk in the building you get good morning are how you doing my grandson attend the school but this is not my first experience my godson attended the school a couple your years ago. My grandson teacher Mrs.McHenry is a great person my grandson didn't know how to spell out his name and he's een there a few months and he came home he know how to spell he's name out and write his name and I think that's a really good thing you know they up there really paying attention to the kids.
Teachers have passion for their students. Administration officials are awesome in relaying information about students to parents and parents to teachers. Afterschool programs helps with learning disabilities, while wellness program offers students free breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Very intuitive for parents. Must be willing to take part in school events and also be active in your child learning curb. This isnt a daycare by any means. Students do have to wear uniforms and are taught morals and values of unlimited resources. I have had all my kids in school since age 3. Once potty train they were learning how to identify, write, and read. Excellent school experience for actively participating parents in their children eduction.
Great school of choice! My daughter started at the age of 3 here. With the diligent help of her teacher Mrs. McHenry, she has learned how to write and spell her name which is a big mile stone. This shows me that the teachers are working one on one with the children & that’s good!
My only extreme concern is, teachers going through the curriculum so fast that the students cannot copy, grasp nor comprehend what is being taught to them. And if they ask for something to be repeated or to slow down the teachers get upset. Give our kids the CHANCE THEY DESERVE TO LEARN. PLEASE!
Well besides the funny teachers and students, I'd say I liked it because of basketball in the parking lot because had no gym, and those days where we'd get pineapple/watermelon for lunch MMM!!! A special thanks to Mr. Salter, Mr. Harris, and Mr. Kelley never would have made it without y'all. Love, Zach!!
I had 2 go here in 2005 & it was a bad experience although I had a nice teacher the kid's we're mean to me & sometimes the food would b past it's due date but they would still try 2 make us eat it
I HAD 2 BABIES TO ATTEND AOD AND IT WAS SO AWESOME; THEY ARE NOW 20 AND 17 AND STARTED HERE AT 3 ; NOW I HAVE A 3YR OLD THAT ATTENDS AND HAS BEEN THERE A MONTH GIVE OR TAKE, HE WOULD NOT TELL ANYONE HIS REAL NAME ONLY WHAT WE CALL HIM AT HOME, WE TRIED TO LEARN HIM HIS NAME BF HE GOT TO SCHOOL AND HE JUST WASNT HAVING IT, WELL AFTER 2 DAYS AT THE SCHOOL HE HAVE BEEN COMING HOME SAYING HIS FIRST AMD LAST NAME WHEN WE ASK HIM AND ITS CUTE AS A BUTTON!!! S/O TO MRS. KAZEE IAM LOOKING FOWARD TO EVERYTHING HE LEARNS FROM HERE ON OUT!! TY AOD
I was a teacher at AOD. It was a great school to work for, the only reason I left was to be closer home. Please take your child to AOD!!!!!
My son has learned alot this year. Also the teachers do alot of one on one time with the students.
They helped my daughter tremendously and would not be where she is now education wise if not for their teachers and programs.
