I wanted to love this place because it’s a small, family owned business, but there just wasn’t anything *spectacular* about the food. Portion sizes were perfect, service was great, and I did love the seasoned chips. Just feel like it was lacking in flavor.

I rarely write reviews, but thought these egregious shortcomings of this place should be noted for any others considering this place. The good: - Nachos, although just chips and cheese, did have real cheese - Cheese quesadilla was enjoyed by our 8yo - Chips and salsa were good The bad: - Took over 30min for us to get 2 apps and a dinner combo - Took a good 5-10min for us to get waters and a beer - Dinner combo didn't advertise meat, but then included a chili Verde sauce with pork - VEGETARIANS BEWARE!! - Bean and cheese smothered burrito was mediocre - Hostess charged us $2 without notice to make our smothered burrito without meat - RIP OFF!! - Ordered a second beer that never came Vegetarian options: Vegetarians beware!! Apparently some of their sauces have meat in them even though not advertised, nor is the sauce advertised to be included on the item smothered burritos. Kid-friendliness: No kids menu

Wow our first time here and definitely not our last. Lots of parking The servers are super friendly specially Paola our server. The chips are nice and warm the salsa is sooo sooo good! Did I mention the chips are warm? Fresh and warm! We ordered Mexican steak comes with rice, beans, salad, flour homemade tortillas and homemade papas. I ordered 3 smothered burrito with cheese Chile verde smothered cheese fries Menudo The food and I mean EVERYTHING was delicious! The staff was super friendly and attentive even though it was dinner rush and only two of them they made sure everyone was being attended to. The bathrooms were super super clean and that’s a great sign! I always feel the bathrooms represent the restaurant. This is a super great fAmily owned local gem in Kearns. We are definitely fans and will be coming back and letting our friends and family know. If you don’t have time to eat - take take out. You do have to remind yourself we are in the middle of a pandemic so there are stat shortages so if you’re food takes a little longer to come out - be patient this place is definitely worth it! Love this place every time. Feels like I'm at home having mom's cooking! The cheese enchiladas and taco salad are delicious. They warm their chips so it's an incredible touch to your meal. This is a tie for first in Mexican Restaurants in Salt Lake.

Excellent food reasonably priced. Service is spot on. What I loved most was the hand made flour tortillas. Not that store bought stuff. Real Latino food made the traditional way. Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level easement.

Nice, small Mexican restaurant with a wide variety of Mexican Dishes. The staff are English and Spanish friendly and it's typically not too busy. The staff are also really friendly and kind. The food tastes delicious and allows for a real Mexican food experience. Meals come with chios and salsa and more often than not beans and rice. It's small and not well known, but it's a good place to go and I recommend it.

Service was very good, but it was not busy when we arrived. Warm chips were wonderful! Cheese enchiladas were good, but the relleano was not. Parking: Some difficulty because of construction.

Quiet spot, not too busy. Had to wait to have drinks refilled several times, but food came out pretty fast and was ok.Food: 3/5

My husband has been bringing me here since we were 16 a long time, and it is still our favorite go-to for delicious, authentic mexican food. We love the smothered burritos, the cheese enchiladas, the tacos con chorizo, or tacos with carne asada. Basically, anything you order is perfect, and the staff is amazing.Food: 5/5
